Not sure about the way Jessica is styled, she is, after all, only 16, and that dress is surely meant to be worn by someone older.
Didn't really like that from her, too much playing with the notes for me. |

Jessica singing one of Jen's favourite songs....Jen says people need to hear her sing like this...
Unsure re this song as it's too big a song for her, although she had good parts. 8/10 Randy...perfect song for her |

Haven't liked either performance yet, and I like both Joshua and Jessica.
Both songs seemed bland and arduous. |

Phillip.....Beggin'.....uptempo number, unsure re this song for him. Was ok, but didn't feel it was great. 8/10

Didn't really like any of the first set of performances, but think Phillip did best.

Contestants choice after the ads, it will be interesting to see which songs they choose. It should show where they want to be as an artist.

Think the judges need to keep their over-praise of Phillip to a minimum, as I can't see them being too thrilled if he wins over both Joshua and Jessica. Another white guy with guitar winner won't reflect well on a show that prides itself on diversity.
 They're going to be p*ssed.
