That was more like it from Joshua. Although in my opinion, no-one can do Imagine justice.

Jessica after the break, I would like to see her just simply sing a song, not worry about riffs and all that sort of thing, just let her voice be natural.
not well explained, sorry, from brain to keyboard doesn't come off as well as I would have liked |

Jessica and Joshua have done much better this round.
Must be nerve-racking singing a song of one of the judges with them sat watching you. ![]() Is it just me or does Jessica look much more grown-up this week? Must be the straight hair, the curls tend to make her look all small and cutesy. |

When Stephen Tyler sings that it breaks my heart, it's so beautiful - Jessica was too shrieky and overdid it.
Didn't like it

Did Phillip's dad have a gun in his pocket, or was he just enjoying that hug a bit much?

Mentos ad had singing on it too.
![]() Phillip in Georgia...huge turkey in that pawn shop. Nice hug from his dad. All the love for him, yeah from all those girls. Huge crowd as far as the eye can see....![]() Back to contest, and prefer this song he's doing, and more his style. 9/10 |

Have to say, what a crappy night so far.
They're all good performers, but these songs/productions are just proper snoozefests. Hope they all step it up for the last one. |

Round 3...songs chosen by Jimmy
Josh.....don't know why he's jigging up and down though, as the song isn't what I'd call a dance number. Gee, he's showing plenty of Drama with this number. Found it unusual, yet he did look serious, made me smile. 8/10Also thought I spotted Hollie in the audience Last edited by Dix : 17-05-2012 at 20:37. Reason: extra |

A bit much, but at least he went for it. There's not enough life tonight, so anyone who brings a bit of fire is okay by me.

phillip phillips
Personally think phillip phillips a potential star, he may not have the strongest vocals or do perfect covers, as many others, some who are soon forgot, but he,s a good performer with a touch of charisma, as had adam lambert, for thos who think its just about great vocals and covers, the greatest u s star was bob dylan, more about being an artist.
Jessica and josh better vocals, and josh as also a touch of charisma, still for me phillip, good luck to him win or lose.

Hmmm really enjoyed that.
Certainly the nicest song on the ears tonight. I think all 3 of these singers tend to push it too far and make me wince, although I think Jessica can carry the loud notes the best and not deafen me.

Wow that was very good. Possibly the best of the night.
So tonight I've thought that all 3 were great in 1 performance, okay in the other, and pretty awful in the other. lol How old is Randy though? He acts like a guy in college giving his opinions. |

I think this could be Philip winning. Love Josh, like Jessica, have not liked Philip at all. But I think he has peaked at just the right time, and as Jennifer said, there will be lots of young girls out there imagining he was singing that song just for them.

Maybe Phillip won it on the last song.
Jessica was good but Joshua just overdid his songs. |

My ranking for tonight:
1. Phillip '3: We've Got Tonight' 2. Jessica '3: I'll Be There' 3. Joshua '2: Imagine' 4. Phillip '1: Beggin' 5. Joshua '3: No More Drama' 6. Jessica '2: I Don't Want To Miss A Thing' 7. Joshua '1: I'd Rather Go Blind' 8. Jessica '1: My All' 9. Phillip '2: Disease' But based on the overall series, I hope for Jessica/Joshua final 2, and Px2 GTFO.
