My bones hurt from all the shows
But I don't feel the pain cuz I'm a pro
I sink in then I'm OK
Cuz my body belongs to you, when I'm on stage.

"The Stage" has been long rumoured.

I'm not too sure I like these lyrics, they seem pretty cheap. Hopefully will sound better on the actual track.

I like the lyrics, I think it will work better when we hear it. I remember when lyrics were being tweeted for 'BTW' and we said the same thing, it sounded good when you heard it though.

Love the second tweet - it's confirmed what we've long known or suspected. These looks she's gone for recently are all to do with ARTPOP and everything she says is somehow related or a quote. All will become clear when the record drops - she knows what she's doing! She's giving us ARTPOP now without the music lol. She's toned down the looks, she's still Gaga but it's less government hooker at the moment and more gypsy free spirit 70s love child.

Loving the red hair look, although I do prefer the brunette but glad to see her rocking some different styles!

The early lyric tease we got was: "The Stage is more than I could dream for, time to kill the dance floor"

I could see that being the pre-chorus, and the new lyrics being in the verse or breakdown.

Other lyrics we may have are:

Some people think we're sick, but we just love pop music.

I ate his heart then I swallowed his brain, if you don't love me back I'll do it again.

Anyone can love a rose, it takes a great heart to include the thorns.

A hybrid can withstand these things, my heart can beat with bricks and strings, my ARTPOP can mean anything.

I won't die, but I can't live without you.

Those lyrics (imo) are amazing. Absolutely love the 'I ate his heart then I swallowed his brain, if you don't love me back I'll do it again'. All of those in bold are (I personally think) throwbacks to 'The Fame'. Particularly the second two (in bold).

"Roses have thorns they say".

I'm excited for THIS Gaga

Those lyrics are very bold and remind me very much of Monster, so I think she will kind of head back in that direction but bring new elements. Loving the style atm, hair especially, really cannot wait to see what she'll look like when she does all the red carpets/performances for this era, it should be a treat! Kind of hoping she may adopt a kind of Stevie Nicks - witchy persona

very much love the ROse/thorns allusion....echoes "Monster" the song very much....and yeah BK Nicks Witchcraft type style would incorporate her Boho throwback styyyle very well too....I am actually looking more and more forward to this bit by bit...so is these lyrics for The Stage or a song called ARTPOP by chance?

Of course we don't want a similar problem as the whole Madonna thing but I do think a witchy gimmick would be good for Gaga plus there's the Yoko style as well plus I feel style wise she's kind of tapping into the Janis Joplin look. Same, plus the fact she remaining very mute of details

All my friends at a theatre group I attend pooled together and bought me a pair of white and gold Heartbeats for my birthday!

A complete and utter surprise, I love them so much, the Fame Monster sounds so good through them.

I have the best friends

Aw that is so sweet! Hope you had a nice birthday though I don't think I've seen the white and gold ones

Yeah but its inevitable...when you are influenced by Pop Cultures past and whom you are influenced by are still out there making the goods its inevitable so many comparisons will be made....but personally it only garners attention right?

And as far as Janis Joplin goes i personally find her style rather "bleak" i remember having colourful gear/cars and stuff but her clothing was rather dower and her hair was very messy wasnt it....Hippy by definition and lifestyyyle :O lol! Poor lass!

Happy Birthday Revolution 909! Hope you had a great day!

Those lyrics sound awesome, I hope the songs they belong to end up on the album! I'm getting TFM vibes, specifically monster but with an added twist. It's like this time she is the fame monster - with the whole I ate his heart and I ate his brain line...

And the roses/thorns analogy is an interesting one for her to go with, especially with all the press about her appearance. My take on it at the moment (out of context) is that this is who she is, do we love all of her or only the bits we want to? It's an interesting thought...

Bit late but Happy Belated Birthday Rev.909. Very jealous of your beats!

Some of those lyrics are incredible. I am not feeling "The Stage" though, it seems like a track that should have belonged to BTW but i'll wait until we hear it before I condemn it to hell! :P

It does sound like it could be related to The Queen somehow. But she's always inspired when she's on tour and I imagine playing to thousands in a stadium is an empowering feeling! I quite like the lyrics, I imagine them to be spoken rather than sung though, that's just how I read them.

When does the BTWB officially end? Do we think it'll definitely be wrapped up when the dates run out? Or what are the chances she'll revamp it and add another leg with ARTPOP? I'm guessing at this point not. She wants to concentrate on world domination for ARTPOP lol and it's harder to do that when touring, not to mention exhausting.

I think ARTPOP is going to be so much bigger than just an album and an app. I feel big things coming!

Just a heads up (or paws up!, if you haven't got Terry Richardson's "Lady Gaga" book yet - it's in "The Works" for £2.99 at the moment - bargain.

I paid £15 for that over a year ago!

The last date will be 20th March in Tulsa. 8 days before the Gags Birthday so I think we will more likely get something April time.

To be honest, I don't think she will add more dates. Something tells me she isn't as 'into' this tour as her MB. She recently cut the "Show & Tell" from her performance which has angered fans a lot. I think she is ready to move on from BTW now. I think she was ready a while ago to be honest because her style and whole persona began changing a while back. I am not criticising this I am actually glad she herself seems to be done with it.

Forget the leather and beauty spots and bring on the 60s hippy.

Yeah, i almost brought it at that price a month ago, and bottled out.

They had 2 copies of it in "The Works" for £2.99 at our local branch, i assume others in the chain will have it too.

I bought it for a fiver in HMV in October

And I doubt she will add more dates to the tour, I agree with DominicMarc, I don't think she quite developed the emotion attachment for this tour that the Monster Ball Tour had. Plus adding more dates would be silly as it is promoting the previous album when she should be focusing on the current one
MissMusique

Yeah you're probably right, it woudln't make sense for her to extend the tour any longer. She already started it late in comparison to when the album came out - which is why originally i thought she was going to revamp it with ARTPOP stuff, but now I think she's just going to bring this era to a close and then unleash the new single.

There's loads of speculation that 4th April is a big date, but who knows in Gaga land? the fans do love conspiracy theories! I wonder what she'll do around the Grammy's? Will she attend even if she's not nominated for anything? Or will she drop a twitter bomb?

Quote:
“The Who have revealed they are huge fans of Lady Gaga, praising the star for creating an “iconic” and “fascinating” persona.

The rock band, who have just announced a UK tour, are unlikely fans of the 'Born This Way' singer who they say have impressed them with her eccentric performances and the many personas she adopts.

The Who have praised Lady Gaga for becoming an iconic pop act

“What Lady Gaga has done is created an iconic figure who is someone we can get inside. She's a story and it's fascinating to watch - she's like a space oddity,” The Who guitarist Pete Townshend told The Sun.

Meanwhile, The Who have announced a 10-date UK and Ireland tour which will see the band perform their full Quadrophenia album which was originally released in 1973.

The Who have offered Gold Olympic Medallist Bradley Wiggins a “free pass” to any of their upcoming shows. They have said that they are a big fan of the cyclist, who won Tour De France in 2012 and took home BBC's Sport's Personality of the Year Award, and have invited him to see them live.

Speaking to NME, Roger Daltrey said “he is invited to any of our shows. I've written and told him that. I’m sure we will meet him - he has a free pass to any show he likes.”

The Who have previously performed 'Quadrophenia' in the 90's, but Peter Townsend admits that it didn't hve much structure. “There was too much going on — too much story, too many images, too many guests. At one point we had Annie Lennox pretending to be the sea!”

The Who's tour starts in Dublin on June 8.”
