As you say Christmas is the logical time to release it and, as it's aimed at a different and older audience, I still think that's what they will do. They could leave TB to do the bulk of the promoting with Gaga just stepping in on occasions.”

The best time to release the jazz album is at Xmas time but it will bring it very close to ARTPOP. Maybe it won't make a difference as you say Slojo because they're two completely different markets but as it's a joint album between them she will need to do promo and not leave it just to Tony. Though that's the kind of album which won't need so much promo, it's not like there's really gonna be a huge trail of singles for it, or big concepts for videos or performances so I don't reckon it'll take that much focus away from ARTPOP.”
I think it'd be better for her to perform about half way through the show. That way, they'll build up major hype for her at every given opportunity and Gaga will perform at the peak of viewership.

Christmas is the best time for Tony x Gaga. The fans will buy it for themselves and/or buy it for their (grand)parents as presents, in addition to Tony's fans. People are in the mood for the classics come holiday season, so it's striking while the iron is hot there.
I'd imagine because they recorded in June that Q4 is the goal, and co-promotion is the aim. Little promo will be needed because ARTPOP hype will carry TxG, and because of it's classic jazz/swing sound it'll offer a positive contrast to the futuristic electro of AP. Showcasing both sides of her simultaneously.
I wouldn't be surprised if November is ARTPOP month, then at the beginning of December they launch TxG with a holiday-appropriate single/video to push it. I think it'd be perfect to film a concert at Carnegie Hall with them both performing the album, which can air on HBO and BBC around Christmas. Appearing on Jools Holland's Hootenanny would be ideal, too. Then follow it all up with a Grammy performance.
