It's not a big deal tbh .. It's a concert that was banned, not a charity event that would feed the poor of Indonesia!!!

Incorrect.
It wasn't banned and it wasn't the country's rules that were broken...she pissed off a group of religious extremists who then threatened to kill her. The compromised safety of both Gaga and her fans was what got the show cancelled.

I meant rules as in country's cultural rules, religious rules, tradition rules and so on. Things that has to be taken into consideration in a country such as Indonesia.
When you do something that could bring in more negatives than positives, then you might as well not do it.

But no real cultural rules, religious rules, tradition rules ect were broken the Indonesian Government was even reported to be on her side and looking for a peaceful way to let the concert go ahead. But due to a minority of extremists it had to be called of for safety reasons.
No one is saying this is some great tragedy because it isn't people are just unhappy because 50,000 plus of her fans won't get to see her because of a vocal minority.

I was stating that it was unfair that 50,000 people's voices and thoughts were forced the be silenced because of a few extremists.
You might not think it is a big deal, but maybe people who are basically trapped in their own country would beg to differ.
So Madonna is doing the BTW mash-up there go my hopes that the fan bases might stop the petty feuding and get along, oh well maybe one day I'll be optimistic.

I can understand why she did it and I'm sure her fans (well most of them) will enjoy it and it probably is just a tongue in cheek comment.
But it is going to unfortunately start the whole fan war thing off again and the "shes not me" just seems a little harsh, oh well I'm sure it'll blow over in time and one day the fan bases will get along. It might be a couple of decades but we will one day

Madonna will be vilified (I assume, they seem to hate her for daring to be over 30 and working) by the press and Gaga will be loved again, placing her in the same position she was at ahead of the Born This Way release.
Oh dear. Well, I'm not surprised that Madonna has opted to do a BTW mash up...but I did grant her the benefit of a doubt. I really respect Madonna for not letting the media's idea of "past it" affect the way she works and lives her life.
I also understand that this BTW mash up is probably just meant to be a cheeky little remark, but the "She's not me" part feels cheap and playing into your own hype, which will never be attractive nor come out well for the involved party.

Whose new album?
I guess my opinion is similar to a lot on this thread - Tongue in cheek until the she's not me at the end. I dont think it's necessary, as Madonna had already said her bit about it - but this is just bringing it all up again and really makes her come across as b*tchy and desperate for attention. It's a shame really because I'm sure her tour is amazing and is obviously going to do brilliantly well - why can't she let it speak for itself? Rather than drag Gaga into it, it's like she has to make a desperate grab for attention to get people talking about the tour.
It's only going to start the fan wars up again and it's just a real shame. I expected more from Madonna to be honest, I thought she was classier than this!
