I've bought 'Venus' on iTunes and Amazon

Mine arrived nicely in my iTunes library this morning - currently blasting it. my neighbours must love me!!

Lady Gaga hinted at one during a Q&A on Twitter a few weeks ago. Nothing officially confirmed but it's too early.

I must say I am very excited for this album, everything I've heard from it so far has been amazing and I know the album will be excellent as well.

Ooooooooooooooooo interesting, I would love another ARTPOP volume. I'm dying for a new Gaga album.

damn how i wish she had the VENUS imagery she walked about in London town with yesterday for the X Factor performance :/...so strange for her not to utilise such warped imagery for a performance of two solid songs...hmmm.

Gaga recorded her Graham Norton performance last night, she does 'Venus' with a new verse!

Funny how she seems to be promoting Venus more than the official second single

Who even knows what the next single is? Definitely not Gaga's team...

She apparently performed both DWUW and Venus on Graham Norton.

I guess the logic is to to simply promote the album considering no single can chart. On some level the official charts don't matter as long as the songs can be seen (and then heard/bought) on the iTunes chart.

Mary Jane Holland will probably be my favourite track off of ARTPOP. Loved it from my first listen, I adore Madeon's production on the track and the lyrics are quite humorous. The bridge (?) between the choruses is stunning. Gaga's vocal delivery is punchy and highly effective. Gargantuan hit potential in my opinion.

It just feels so theatrical. Proper rock opera stuff.

It's one of my ultimate hopes for Gaga that she delves into theatre. Both starring and creating. She's perfect for it.

On a side note...I hope they never make a Gaga jukebox musical. The thought of a campy chorus doing Poker Face one minute and some diva belting out The Edge of Glory the next...

glam Rock Operatics are somewhere she could PERFECT totally! I do feel that sense of Opera being linked to her music....i think specifically sarting with her material in The Fame Monster really and it has stemmed out from there.

I do think ARTPOP vocally and in sound/showcase fels like it could indeed be a massiv glam/rock operatic style adventure...the idea of space/the cosmos and personal journies and of course her vocals being top!

I am glad she hasnt gone for a simple generic "EDM" sound which i was so worried about....VENUS, Do What U Want, Aura all showcase more experimental sounds and sides to it...including featuring other genres (Synth, Urban vibes) as well as live instrumentals of guitars, drums to create something quite visceral...anyways....adore the Mary Jane Holland clip....cannot wait for the full whack song. I take it it is definitely musically where her mind goes ...Madeon done good!.

I'm still not sure what to make of MJF until we get the full song. I think the production sounds really interesting - i agree it kinda sounds like Bloody Mary on steroids, and she does sound great - but I can't understand what she's singing.

I think ARTPOP is shaping up to be an album where perhaps instead of being a couple of stand out tracks, it's instead just a really consistent album from start to finish. Every song we've heard so far has been completely different in terms of sound and style and I think that's really cool. I would say out of everything we've heard that DWYW is my least favourite - but even then I do really like it. It's just not really my genre of music that's all, but I can appreciate it's a well done song!

I think you can tell her vocals have improved so much with this album and I really hope she continues to showcase that in future performances. My wishes now are that she and Interscope just try and plan a bit better in terms of future releases, and performances. I get that X Factor was last minute because of the DWYW/Venus fiasco but it's too big a platform to mess around in.

I also think she's got a great voice for theatre and could really do something about that - writing an actual musical that's her own and she stars in would be great, I just can't see her giving anybody else the spotlight
