I got the HQ leak (at last!!) and because I still want to be in suspense til the 11th, I just put 5 songs to my iPhone that I really was anticipating and will hold out til the 11th to hear the rest

Donatella- Love this. It's really catchy and really fun, The last 15 seconds has a great beat too! 8/10

Sexxx Dreams - Naturally I love this (I think everybody did when they first heard it) but.......I think this (for me) is going to be one of the songs that I prefer her performing live, maybe it's because I've listened to the swinefest audio so much that I know every part/sound etc. I really am miffed that the "we were in the swimming pool, I was naked so were you" part was cut out and replaced. Other than that though, it IS a brilliant song and definitely a fan favourite already. 8/10

Swine- Again I think I am suffering from the differences between swinefest and the studio version, I just think some parts of this song sounded better live than studio style, but it's a brilliant song and so easy to get into, very easy to dance to numerous catchy hooks. I love the "maybe I should have a little more just to stay out of my mind" section building up to the chorus. 8/10

Mary Jane Holland - This has even surprised me. I wasn't particularly anticipating this (at the time of tracklist reveal) however the title is of course interesting. Out of the ARTPOP stuff we have heard so far, this is one of my favourites. It's just so good. Too many catchy parts to list and I really love love love the (what is being described as) "broadway section" near the end ("I know that mom and dad think I'm a mess" part). Brilliant brilliant. 10/10

ARTPOP- Well after Gaga did swinefest, this and 'sexxx dreams' were my instant faves. This song is just so good, it really does have a space/planet (?) type feel to it. It's lyrically good and the production works lovely on the ears. One of my favourites. But, to be picky (and lots of fans have said this today) It's a shame that the "heeeheeee's" are so quiet, other than that, outstanding! 9/10

I can't with this bitch performing DOPE tomorrow.

God forbid she promote her current single. Or the other one. Or the lead.

No, let's perform a dodgy ballad that won't be convincing anyone to buy ARTPOP.

To be honest I'm really over the second single now. The only time we'll know what's the true single is when a video is released and gets play on TV.

At the moment I'm just thankful for ARTPOP and I think it's pretty clear Gaga is more an albums artist than a singles one, which is a good thing. I'd rather have an album of strong material like ARTPOP than three #1 singles in a row and a mediocre album.

I guess she's doing Dope because she has had no time to reherse anything for tomorrow so the easiest thing to do is a piano ballad.
Haven't heard the song yet so cant comment on it but sometimes the live performances of some songs are better than the studio versions.
I think the performance of the album is more important to get than the individual singles though

If she releases Gypsy next, I will forgive her for this second single ballsup.

ARTPOP is her best work yet. Definitely.

I'm just thinking about a Gypsy video.

It should be a worldwide shoot. Everywhere. America, India, Beijing, Germany, UK. That's the feel and meaning of the song, so why not show it? God knows she would have the budget.

She could make that a whole campaign. The media would lap it up. "Where is Gaga going next?" Pap shots of her all over the world. Obviously in her Gypsy/Gaga crossover garments. Nationally it could cause a bit of a stir, with her fans in that location.

And with some good PR work, promoting a small "tour" (hyped obviously) where Gaga is recording her new Music video it would be good promotion for the song and generally make the whole 3rd single a big deal. An event.

She needs a big single next. Applause, whilst a good song, didn't set the charts alight, and this second single/promo single mixing around has really not been great. Something big would be a good boost for the album.

i caved in...i listendd...and WOW...ARTPOP is sublime seriously...three plays....some songs i htink could be longer but wow...will do a review when i own it physically ut WOW!

Yup a definite albums artist....and so much potential to ensure longevity here....yup this album will become a fast favourite alongside Daft Punk and Janelles pieces of work. Cannot believe she surpassed the hype for it IMO.

Her finest album of material by a landsldie!....amazing.

I agree Josh, I think Gaga has really gone in a new direction whilst staying in the "pop" genre (if that makes sense).

It's kinda like 'The Fame''s much older, mature and wiser sister

I'm really disappointed with 'Dope' I have to say. Everything else is fine though but upon first listen I was like wtf.

I just don't see it as a compliment telling someone you need them more than dope, but then apparently it's about when she was addicted and it was that one person who really changed that. I don't know

Dope has appeared on Gaga's Vevo and is available for download on iTunes on November 4th.

I'm surprised by how much I quite like it, a typical Gaga cabaret-ballad. My only gripe is her poor pronunciation, which I'm getting sick of talking about. It sullies many a Gaga song in my eyes.

Just listened to Dope and IMO it's quite good. Not the worst song on ARTPOP for me that prize goes to Jewels and Drugs

Overall a fantastic album and I would say her best to date

for me...the definition of what a Perfect Pop Album should be ...the hooks, the eprsonality and enouugh variation too....and insanity seriously.

I just adore how inspired it is as an album it has its own shape and identity....so glad she has spent this long working on it...

and yeah The Fame is like she just wanted the fame and we all want money and the cheaper aspects....whereas this is...5 years later...this IS what it is, this is where i WAS and her ei am now...it is really cool and corners many aspects and i lvoe the spontinaity on the album too it just makes it all the more personal and rawer too. and i love that Zedd and Madeon are on it that bring out this aggression and passion in her voice....wished they did the majority of the album together...but it sure sounds that way anyway .

It has been a while a POP album has made me feel this way it has to be said...it is full of rage, passion, insanity, eeriness and while i am gutted that i caved in and played i am also gald i did! because it surpasses every ounce of hype i have for it!

Just wish now she would give the album the awareness it deserves by making videos get out there.

"gypsy" is my fave song of hers ever i think....but Mary Jane Holland, Artpop, Donatella (the J-Pop use i LOVE there!), Swine, g.u.y, Sexxx Dreams are among that calibre too IMO ...cannot wait to own it physical and foiled <3

Also i love that trippy/cartoonish feel aboutthe album even on Dope it has a cabaret dramatic sense about it...i do love that about the album too...it helps build that hyper feel i guess? But i am so so impressed.

Usually per album there are a select three or four that hit that top mar for me but on ARTPOP there are so many songs that do

You're all exciting me!! I said I'd hold out though, I did it with Born This Way and I can do it again, it just makes me more excited for November 11th

It really is a great album. Not sure how it's going to fair though because the standouts aren't really viable singles bar Gypsy and DWUW.

I've edited the tracklist and it's further improved the album for me:

1. Applause
2. G.U.Y
3. Venus
4. Aura (HQ demo)
5. Sexxx Dreams
6. ARTPOP
7. Do What U Want
8. Donatella
9. Swine
10. MANiCURE
11. Mary Jane Holland
12. Gypsy

Bonus: Jewels n' Drugs, Fashion!, Dope + future APP tracks.

BadKid95 - if you can't hold out til 11th there's a stream on iTunes tomorrow, and that's legit! Plus it'll be HQ so better than a lot of stuff floating around the internet right now

toanythingtaboo - I agree with that mostly, though i think for my taste i'd probably leave DWYW off and put Dope back in, but maybe as I wanna be with you instead. Not sure... I think the reason why Aura and Applause start and finish is because those are the songs where she sings ARTPOP at the end, so they make good bookmarks. I understand why she put Applause at the end, it makes sense - but from a sonic level I don't think it works really.

My ranking of the songs:

1 - Gypsy
2 - G.U.Y.
3 - Sexxx Dreams
4 - MANiCURE
5 - ARTPOP
6 - Donatella
7 - Mary Jane Holland
8 - Venus
9 - Applause
10 - Do What U Want
11 - Dope
12 - Swine
13 - Aura
14 - Fashion!
15 - Jewels n' Drugs

DWUW is the perfect second single, from here I'd have Gypsy as the third and G.U.Y. as the fourth. If there's a fifth and sixth, Sexxx Dreams and MANiCURE Not just because they're my favourites

so far...

fashion! is great … wasn't expecting it …her vocals are amazing but my biggest critique with gaga prevails… mixing , mastering and overall production … her vocals are drowned in parts! what where they thinking?

Ooh I didn't know that was tomorrow! Yeah I think I'll get in on that, thanks MissMusique

The way everybody is talking on here, Gypsy seems to be the big one. I won't lie I wasn't really feeling it when I watched the video of her performing it in Berlin

Yeah haha! When I created my DS account I was going through a phase with the song, I don't listen to it that much now. I would say my favourite on Born This Way would either be Government Hooker or Scheisse (criminal the latter was not a single)
