I don't think it will ever be shown

My theory is that it has R Kelly in it and he has been getting a lot of bad publicity about his sex life etc. He is seen as being pretty sleazy. The video was directed by Terry Richardson so you can be certain it is little short of soft porn. Put those two things together and releasing it now would put Gaga in the firing line for a serious backlash and that's one thing she doesn't need at the moment.

I think they are keeping quiet about it for legal reasons. If they tell the truth then they are effectively saying they think R Kelly is guilty which could land them in court so they will say nothing and let the whole thing quietly die.

Gaga needs to choose the people she works with more carefully

This exactly.

She's made a lot of questionable decisions in her recent career but hopefully things will be back on track soon! I'm glad she's keeping silent about things and just waiting until the shoot is finished before saying anything - at least, I hope she keeps it that way! Overhyping is one of her worst habits, even when it's the fans that get carried away - she knows they do that, and just teases everybody all the time. She needs to deliver with great music, clear visual concepts, and undeniably great performances. Her interviews need to be reigned in more and she needs to realise there's a time and place for performance art, and maybe choose her audience a little more carefully.

I have no doubt Gaga can get back to where she used to be, if she wants to, but she needs to take people's advice a bit more and choose her battles more wisely. Her performances this era have been a bit hit and miss, but there have been some great ones. But people are turned off by her attitude and the things she says - her music alone is not enough to counteract people's disinterest regarding these things.

I like Gaga, a very creative artist that dosen't care what anyone else thinks!

I've done a cover of say something by A Great Big World - Check it out if you have minute.

Ah missing no new gaga action has to be said...so summery outside with the sun had ARTPOP in my ears (as well as Madonnas Hard Candy and goldfrapps - Head FIrst) and my gosh so lovely...really wished some more singles/videos were out there to endorse the album better-er but alas...

Looking forward to see her perform soon at least...should be really cool

Anybody watched the SXSW performances? I don't know her full setlist, but i saw vids for Aura, JnD, Dope, Applause, Bad Romance and Swine. I don't really know what to say. I know festival performances are different and are meant to be a lot more grungey kinda, but that... I thought she sounded awful a lot of the time, off key and all this forcing of the voice in higher notes. She didn't even really sing a lot of the time.

It just didn't look very organised in terms of staging either, quite messy and not always in a good way. I liked Dope the best from what I've seen. I liked what she was trying to do with Bad Romance but the violinist was terrible and it just came over a bit half-finished to me. Swine, I don't know. I can see the puking is symbolic to the song and it's message and festivals are different from the Grammys or Brits or whatever, it just didn't really do it for me.

Overall I'm worried about her. If you watch this and then earlier videos of her from 2009-10 it is worrying. I can only hope that this is part of some overall grand master plan of hers or something, she just seems a bit out of it. She did look much freer and happier at times, but if this is how she sounds on tour then I'm not as excited about going as I was... Sorry to be a debbie downer, just my feelings!

As it was a festival performance on a small stage it was always going to be a bit more "grungy as you put it and was never going to be a polished choreographed set like you see on tour. The vomit thing is what passes for performance art and the girl who did it is a Vomit Painter -- yep really --- and definitely not my thing. Thought the vocals were ok but not her best by any means. She seemed to be trying to get back to her punk roots

Thought she might have put more back catalogue songs in as that usually goes down well at festivals and she proved that Jewels and Drugs should never have seen the light of day. To an extent it was a bit like Swinefest 2. It was like she was saying "look I can do whatever I like" which is fine but if you take the sponsors bucks you have to compromise a bit and I doubt Doritos will have been impressed with what they got for $2m. I sure they wanted more FameGa.

This show was basically for hardcore fans only and I doubt the ARTrave tour will be anything like this as it will have more casual / non fans there so and she will be back to the usual polished performance.

I think ARTPOP underperforming has hit her hard and she has lost her way musically. She doesn't seem to know what she wants to be doing. Pop, rock, punk, rap, jazz.??? Part of her problem is she can do them all -- except rap. But on the one hand she has to be a pop artist to keep the record company and sponsors happy. On the other I think she still longs for the days of doing whatever she wanted like she did in small clubs etc.

I personally don't think she is long for the mainstream in pop it's not where her heart is. she will probably do the tour because she is committed to it and then there will be a massive change in what she does. As a fan that doesn't bother me as long as she makes music I want to hear in any shape or form I'm happy to buy it. The day she doesn't I wont

i agree this wasn't her best live performance, especially in comparison to swinefest and artRave.

The 'spit roast' didn't suit 'aura'. Perhaps that would have worked better on swine for the intro. Also her vocals were out of tune in places and she did miss the higher notes in 'Aura'. But 'Swine' ? What can I say. It was as she called it 'art'. A model drinking lots of luminous liquid and then forcing herself to vomit over Gaga by putting her hands down her throat. Then she rode a big pig with the model vomiting black liquid over her. Did it shock? Was it artistic? I think that's down to the individual.

Apparently, her key note speech was about the objectification of women and beauty. So this partly explains the styling and artistic choices.

Well has to be said i am gutted Brooklyn Nights didnt make the album cut...BUT i hope a final version makes the cut for ARTPOP 2....and love the TEMPLE snippet leak too...although perhaps from the snippet it does remind of Electric CHapel lyrically "come come to my Temple" chants etc...but it sounds great nontheless.

Hope we are paving way for the next installment...if so really stoked and really hope we hear more experimental sounds and styles....i get the sense gaga has transformed from a more POPPY persona with the goddess/cleancut kinda looks to really going arty and trashy and grungy in look and vibe of late so i do wonder if we are headed that way...we shall see.

Either way next weekend new video will be out there to see and hear, cannot wait!

Rumor has it that ARTPOP Act ll COULD be released to iTunes Saturday. However I think that's unlikely but not impossible, especially with the music video being released then.

i have seen the posted scheduled GUY times and it looks like its midnight release for us. Now that time signals maybe a single, ep or album release. I have my fingers crossed for a 'repackaged art pop' with new songs, rewordings and videos! It could be released on iTunes in a beyonce style. It would be a good move to relaunch the album.

Very quiet on here these days. What did everybody think of the music video to GUY?

I really liked it thought it was a good return to form. It's got enough in it to keep the fans happy, what with trying to work out the hidden meanings and so on, but also lots to win over the GP. I thought she looked good and I liked the nod to the forever lost DWYW video!

Would love some live performances of it, to strike whilst the irons hot and all that, but I know she's got Roseland coming up soon which she's working hard for.

Much prefer this than the SXSW showing which I had very mixed feelings about.

Happy Bday for yesterday LM, hope you had a good day!

I can't wait to see the Roseland shows! I wonder what the set list will be? There's rumours she's doing older non-single songs like BJAM, Teeth and so on.

There's rumours also that Perez is gonna go and try to cause trouble or something, wish he'd just let it rest. Either spill what you have on her (which I doubt is anything as he can't keep a secret) or just leave it alone. Looks bitter to me to consistently try and derail somebody's well being and career. I bet Gagas regretting the day she ever met him - a valuable lesson learnt on her part I think.

Glad to hear it! And Happy belated bday to you too boysforpele!

So totally got my wires crossed and she's already done 1st night of Roseland!

Setlist was PF, Just Dance, BR, Applause, dope, monster, BJAM, btw, applause, first performance of guy (!), sexy dreams - did I leave anything out?

She sounded great and I much preferred this to the festival performance - which I think I just took out of context.

Here's a really interesting analysis of the GUY video!

http://www.buzzfeed.com/azafar/lady-...deconstruction

Good read I think, though I think some parts (the Matrix for example) are reaching a little. But that's what I like about Gaga, there's always so much room for interpretation and so many layers to what she does.
