Me too! I looked at some things just because I have no self-control - especially right at the beginning of the tour. But now I'm trying to avoid looking at clips and costumes as I want it to be a surprise. The time is going faster than I thought it would - only just over a month to go!
I'm playing in a festival orchestra right now and having such a great time playing amazing pieces and making great friends - I've been here nearly a month already and I just don't want to leave so in a way I don't want the next month to pass quickly - I'm having way too much fun! But at least when it's over I'll have the Gaga concert to cheer me up!

I'm not surprised Gaga hasn't got any nominations for this year's VMAs she hasn't put any new music out in 2012 and the majority of the era was covered by the 2011 one, I thought maybe MTN could have got a nomination in a minor category but oh well, she'll sweep next year

I agree. I just hope they don't use her in commercials/promo-that would be the ultimate slap in the face ('We snubbed you, but hey, let's use your face anyway' Nuh uh. Not here for that.). But she said she wasn't going anyway, and it's pretty obvious why. But I don't understand why they moved it to Thursday.

I'm not particularly surprised either - whilst I really like the MTN video I don't think it connected with the public at all as there's too much inside stuff you'd need to know to 'get' it properly I think. Plus as someone else has said on this forum a Gagaless year is probably a good thing. I'm expecting her to slay next year

At the end of the day, there are a limit to nominations per category and there were bigger songs and more popular videos than MTN and Y&I.

Along with Gaga not planning on attending, there really was no reason to nominate her.

The actual show will probably be boring as hell. Unless someone pulls a stunt, I doubt anything 'wow' will happen.

I know how you feel. I try not to read the comments on the articles on this site, especially when they're about Gaga. Not only are they nasty, but it seems that people have also forgotten their basic spelling and grammar!

If they care enough about Gaga to consistently troll her articles/threads with inane negativity then I guess they're beyond reason. I don't tend to bother with things I genuinely don't care about, so.

Yeah, it's give or take with me both sides have their faults and a lot of comparisons are silly, though still I listen to a lot of music and I'm there for that I don't care if two singers may wear similar dresses or do the same dance moves it's music and they are women, as it's been observed nobody glamorizes men fighting but with women, well some journalists thrive upon it
