And what's it like? I flipped through it a little, a while ago in HMV and thought there were some great pics. She's very open with him and he's captured some very honest moments of her - excited to see what he comes up with from this tour.

I love the Terry Richardson book. I think I got it for £14 just after Christmas (think it was originally £30!)

I've not properly been through it yet, waiting for a good moment where my head is clear...it is a rather thick book so many pictures!

On my phone so I can't post the screw caps, but Gaga confirmed on Twitter tonight:

- Fernando is a producer on the album.
- RedOne is a producer on the album.
- The follow up to Telephone is on the album.

She's previously said that she wouldn't do the next Papa/Tele without Beyonce, but it'd be cool if Britney was part of it too to step it up from the last. Could be the biggest female group collab since Lady Marmalade.

I can't wait to see what she comes up with for the Telephone sequel - and whether she'll keep the same video director. She's met with jonas so I'm guessing perhaps she is. She previously said that there's so many things about the video that she doesn't like and the song as well I think, so it'd be interesting to see how she goes about it this time round as it were.

She also said when asked about details for the first single: next year - so whether that means we'll hear it in the new year or whether we won't get details until then, who knows? I suspect the former, I doubt she'll be able to keep it quiet that long - another two months and a bit to go!!

Now I honestly didn't think RedOne would produce, I thought they'd gone their separate ways now, mainly because I'm sure his reputation has been tarnished working with the likes of 1D and Nicki Minaj

Is it possible that Ratchet is the next part to the Papa Tele story?

I was skeptical over RedOne's involvement because she definitely seems to have moved on and there hasn't been any talk of him or Fernando, but I guess it makes sense that he'd be on board. Her label probably isn't ready for her to not have a RedOne track safety net.

I definitely think it's possible that Ratchet with Azealia is the Telephone follow up. I'm hoping that it's a major pop collaboration though.

I'd say it's a safe bet that Jonas will direct the video.

This has to be good news

When it comes to videos I know she fancies herself as a director and is full of ideas but it needs a proper director to take those ideas refine them and put them on film to the maximun effect

I agree. She has the ideas but lacks the experience. Thankfully she's said that the ARTPOP singles will have professional directors.

I don't blame her for the BTW videos though. She said that BTW didn't turn out how she had hoped, which is why she and LAG tackled Judas alone so they could have full control. The result was good considering but LAG forced compromises on grounds of her faith. Then there was the "I don't co-direct" drama with Joseph Kahn over TEOG. I think she was just fed up and it's why Y&I and MTN were solo directorials with the Haus.

I guess she's going back to previous collaborators and friends that she can trust. I'd love for videos with Jonas (Paparazzi, Telephone), Klein (Alejandro, FAME), Francis Lawrence (Bad Romance) and some new faces.

Hmm so with the traditional format of directors as well as other things like re-visiting the Telephone idea, is it safe to say this album is going back in the direction of The Fame Monster?

I really doubt she's creatively going to go backwards, but they're obviously revisiting elements of previous eras that worked well - including BTW - to give ARTPOP the best shot.

Musically, I think she's going to step it up a notch. I'm expecting Government Hooker and Heavy Metal Lover crossed with Poker Face and Telephone on acid. Very electro and somewhat light hearted.

Maybe - I have a feeling it will fall somewhere between TFM and BTW

I think it will be the album she probably should have made instead of BTW and would of eased the transition of her music style and carried the fans happily along with it

I think BTW was one album to early and a big jump hence some of the negativity towards it. Though I loved it and still do

Slojo I totally agree with you in terms of BTW. Whilst I love it as an album and still play it regularly - I think for people who don't follow Gaga so much it came as a big surprise.
Her musical style back in TF/TFM days was so distinct and polished already that to many, BTW came out of nowhere and was too muddled to be able to distinguish a definite image and style with it. She was changing looks for every single, if not more regularly than that, and I think it was just too confusing for people - for her to go from fun loving, partying, disco-stick waving Gaga to preachy, more serious and extreme Gaga was a step they couldn't follow to clearly.

I just hope she's not taking a step backwards with ARTPOP but of course it remains to be seen. I think hiring directors for her videos and working with them is the best idea. Whilst Judas remains one of my favourite videos of hers, I have to say on the whole the videos for BTW era were a mess. I had no idea what was going on in a lot of them and just found them too confusing imagery-wise.

They need to plan this next album better in terms of release dates, videos and proper promo. Gaga needs to be more consistent in terms of theme and aesthetic - remember how distinctive the hairbow was from TF? But the most important thing is that there's progression with the music. I have NO idea whether Stache, Princess Die and Cake like Lady Gaga are indicative of the direction she's going in, I would kinda hope not (apart from PD) as whilst they're fun, it's not exactly brilliant writing. Still hopefully we'll get some new material in the new year and the lead single, whatever that may be, will be a huge indication of what the rest of the album will sound like. I'm getting the vibe that the album will have a much more consistent sound.

Gaga is #5 on the top selling female single acts in UK chart history! Not bad for 4 years in the game! Just imagine what her sales will be like when she's been doing this for 10 years!

It's brilliant for both Gaga and Rihanna to make it so high on the list even though they're newer than many on that list. Anyway, well deserved for Madonna

Yes though hardly surprising! I actually thought her sales would be higher - Rihanna will catch her up soon at the rate she's going!

I was surprised to see ONJ too tracy!

And 3 years since Bad ROmance?!!? crazy... how time flies!

I hope Rihanna doesn't! Madonna should hold onto her title for as long as possible and if anyone has to overtake her, I hope it's Gaga

Yeah, I didn't even know Olivia Newton-John was that big over here! And I know, I remember the very first time I heard Bad Romance on the radio, I was puzzled by the ra ra aaaa ruma mamamaaa gaga oooh la la
