Hey y'all! Apparently she was sick in Mexico last night. But she still managed to pull off this amazing performance of Marry The Night. Love her.

Yeah, I didn't even know Olivia Newton-John was that big over here! And I know, I remember the very first time I heard Bad Romance on the radio, I was puzzled by the ra ra aaaa ruma mamamaaa gaga oooh la la ”

Tbh i feel its a bit rediculous to list Rihanna, gaga, Beyonce in some repsects because of it being digital age heavy and songs are far far cheaper to buy than ever now....so more will b sold inevitably.

Whereas Madonna, Kylie, Britney sold their records when singles were far far more expensive (and albums too for that matter) so it really certifies their status as who they are....plu Madonna is MILES ahead with almost 18million thats epic...and i do hope Riri doesnt...but thats the name of the game in Pop markets now...sell, sell ,sell fast fast fast and it is off putting but hey...its a new industry now....But hey who knows what Madonna will cook up for the future...none of us know.

Also alternatively, i do like that while gaga is in the top 5 it is not excessively so either because while yes she has had so many releases out there it isnt "too much" and has just narrowly overtaken Britneys sales so that is another aspect...yes gaga is selling lots in her half decade but at the same time...its not as freneticly paced.

Anyways, who can indeed predict the future??

Also it is about impact in the industry...and while i do like her, i fail to see RIhannas big impact songs compared to Madonna or any of the massive selling artists for that matter...whereas gaga especially 2009/10 you can see her stamp kinda bringing "Pop Event" back and having a collage of Pop Cultural references day in and day out and massively recognisable hits too in a row almost.

Ah well i am ranting on and on now XD

Only I am sasha fierce and 4 could really be counted in the digital age. 4 didn't even have a tour to support it.

Dangerously in love and B'day were before the digital. B'day was a year and a half early before digital age started to peak in end of 2007.

Britney and Beyonce are in the same boat.

The list doesn't really reflect reality.

In the long term, i believe Gaga will wipe the floor with the girls above her and take over #1 eventually, or maybe Rihanna because of the an "album a year" strategy.

-----------

Lady Gaga needs to make this Telephone 2.0 happen with Beyonce.

Plot:

*Britney has the Bey crush
*Britney plans to steal Bey from Gaga
*Bey likes Britney back and cheats on Gaga
*Gaga finds out and decides to kill both of them
*(Last scene) Gaga ends Bey's life, she kisses her and sheds a tear. *goodbye*

I am ready lol

I entirely feel there needs to be a Digital age list and physical list really...i mean all this fast burn sales stuff is truly distasteful in some respects because soon enough all the music legends will be overtaken by new artists by always releasing more and more singles etc...it feels a bit...i dunno...backward in some ways like impact means nothing but sales do.

It is absurd...and in long term who knows what on earth will happen in ten years time? I mean Madonna has her legacy set in stone...will be interesting and exciting to see and hear her next step...and Britney...will she make a comeback with her new label or continue a more relaxed route? Beyonce is a dark horse also...will she crank it up or continue a la 4 way? hmmm we shall see

I can't wait for the next PapaTele installment. Will it be uptempo or midtempo, who will it involve, how ridiculous will the video be, will she wrap it up or leave it open for future episodes? Not to mention, this will be the first time she'll have written the song with intention to be part of the video story. Could be pretty fun.

I personally hope she makes it the third single. The lead single has it's own hype, the second single will ride off the back of the first, but the third could benefit from a hype boost that will in turn sustain the fourth single.

Plus, it may coincide with the VMAs and I'd kill for a trilogy performance.

That was the single I was most excited for. Especailly after the demo leak. 3 years flies by so quickly. It only feels like 2 at the most!

Three years has gone so fast. That was a big year for music (well in my life, with the arrival of Gaga and a few others). I remember obsessively logging on the computer at all hours of the day hoping the final version had leaked (as I was obsessed with the demo).

November 23rd 2009 was when 'The Fame Monster' was released I believe.

I listened to the BR demo on repeat when it leaked. Hadn't been that instantantly obsessed with a song in a long time.

Wasn't immediately 100% sold on how different the final version was, but I loved it after a few listens and damn is that an instant classic pop song.

I have to say I was a fan when BR came out but not like I am now - so I don't know the demo version. I remember being hooked at the beginning though - Ra ra ah ah ah ro ma ro ma ma Ga Ga ooh la la - LOVE IT!! Best opening she's ever done, apart from maybe Scheisse...

The demo isn't as aggressive. It's softer and has more vocal effects. The "walk walk" bit had a strong New Yoirk accent, th ending is different (no French bit and build up to climax) and there's no "Ga ga ooh la la". I loved the "ooooh" riff inbetween the chorus lines.

I prefer the demo of Bad Romance too actually. I remember being a bit disappointed when the finished version was released as it felt a little bit over produced in comparison but still an amazing tune.

That's one of Gagas problems though - she likes to throw in every thing including the kitchen sink.

I think the same thing about Hair which is amazing done simply and acoustic but losses something - emotion I think -on the full blown album version.

One day she will learn that sometimes less is more

Yeah she will learn over time hehe...bless her lol!
