Born This Way was the first album I ever followed from pre-release.

Me too! I was so excited for it to come out and I didn't listen to any of the leaks. I can remember listening to it for the first time and just being so excited and happy that I was finally listening to it!

And I still play it a lot today, my Mum loves it lol and I can't wait for more music!! BTW is such a huge progression from the Fame!

I've watched a few videos but kinda wish I hant just because I want it to be a surprise. Maybe I'll have selective amnesia and forget it all

Are there any songs that you did/didn't like on first listen that you've now changed your mind about? I didn't really love any of the tracks after Bloody Mary (apart from Edge of Glory) - I felt after the first 8 tracks it all got a bit filler-y but now I love them all. I absolutely adore HTM and Electric Chapel

Weird to think that the era began a year and a half ago and that it's been two years since Alejandro. Time is flying.”

Yep I know I really can't believe it...Happy Birthday for today lol!

Australia accidentally released it on the 21st, so I've had my BTW longer than anyone else so awesome.

I still have it playing every day; at the gym, in the car, while on laptop etc. It's not aged a bit over the year and the instrumentals are so layered that you can discover new things from the songs depending on speaker/headphone quality.

I downloaded one leak, which was Americano, because it had already been played at TMB so it was ok. Plus we already had Hair and TEOG, plus BTW + Judas.

These days Americano is gone from my playlist, as is Black Jesus and Fashion of his love. I do like them, they have their place, but her voice is too high and emotionless in the last 2. Americano hurts my ears with the Aaaaaah bits in the chorus.

I am a Highway Unicorn lover, the chorus is too Gay Pride, but the verses + ending are amazing.
Judas lost my love for a little while but now it's got me bad.

Other than that, it's been played roughly 2000 times according to my laptop + Mp3 player.

I am very excited for new music. It's been so long but we wont get leaks like with TFM because most of her stuff is either locked away safe or on an album.

I recently listened to Howard Stern again. That clip she played of a new song sounded amazing. Damn Trollga.

We won't get random songs inserted into the tour either because there's no piano segment aside from Hair. No Brown Eyes, Stand by me, You & I, Americano or Living on the radio moments.

Would just like to put it out there that Gaga has a few things to accomplish from the next album...

- Widely accepted themes (not just for gay fans as this campaign seemed to be)
- Gaga's Traditional non-single amazing track (I like it rough, DITD, Scheiße)
- Slick and clear promotional campaign without oversaturation.
- No promo singles
- 3 Singles with full campaigns to smash charts
- Planned out videos arranged in advance to be put out as events.

Ideally we'd get an accompanying acoustic version, but it's probably a lost cause.

The other thing she can prove is that she doesn't need to dress like she fell into a circus sex dungeon in order to be noticed. A few promo dates as blondega in a designer dress witth mad heels would be fine, keep the crazy for upbeat tracks - although baldyga was awesome sauce.

Also, she needs to hire me. Ok so I didn't have the idea for HML or Bloody Mary, but Pianoga suspended over the audience in a perspex prison box craps on her current performance of Hair and You & I. Also, reading my idea for the tour before it started, it's a very similar plotline, but mine was better and more gaga. I love the GOAT though.

I'm glad it's not just me that has a high number of BTW plays!

I agree with all your ideas for the next album campaign rollercoaster. I would just add that perhaps she do a proper ballad as one of the singles and also that she doesn't five too much away about the album. I think the hype should be kept to a minimum and then POW drop a single, do some amazing promo at an awards show (really well planned and executed with clear concise ideas and imagery). I think this would be a good idea for her rather than hyping the album for 6 months...

Nothing wrong with her sex dungeon style clothes rollercoaster I appreciate them at least lol, like the rest of your ideas though, if her track record is anything to go by I doubt we'll an out of the blue single drop she likes to hype her stuff too much to do that but hopefully she'll minimize the hype a little for the next album.

Yes perhaps you're right about the hype but I just think it would be interesting if she toned it down and tried to make it more about the music this time. I know Gaga is as much about theatrics/the aesthetic as she is about the music but perhaps that can all be saved for performances. The hype machine that was the BTW release was s little too much I feel - it just snowballed out of control. She needs to realise the power she has really - everything can and is quoted these days.

I know what you mean and I'd personally prefer it if she did that as well but I don't really think she would, she just seems say what she what going through her head at the time without really thinking about everything else it not a bad trait to have sometimes but like you said everything can be quoted. I'd hate another album of the decade comment like situation.

The sex dungeon clothes and long teal hair would have been fine if she was promoting a scheiße/Hair double release, but she was promoting a song about her grandfather's death and a song about being yourself whilst dressed as ursula's kinky sister. Just no.

We need a ballad done like xtina's vma 'hurt' look, but a little more designer.

The thing to do would be a very commercial few singles as the next campaign and release them in reverse order from least commercial to most.
Plan the videos in advance, book studio/location time and get some big directors; Gaga/Burton, Gaga/Cameron, etc etc.

Also, keep the pokerface/badromance/judas continuation as an album track for now.
