Bit late i know but just read about gagas movie project with Terry RIchardson (ugh he gives me the creeps but whatever) i must say it is an interesting prospect most definitely and we will see what the outcome is definitely....but it really does broaden the scope for the ARTPOP album/project.
And as has been discussed on here already...Born This Way regardless of what some call it i still have it as a favourite of 2011 (third only to Pala by Friendly Fires and Ceremonials by Florence) it reminds me of summer 2011 and still almost 2 years on the majority of songs have grown on me even moreso

And as has been said Born This Way sold well based on name, the fact that it was the most promoted album bar none and it came off of her debut era into her second stage, so all this of course lead to stable sales...only marginally less than TF/TFM collectively....so tbh that was very consistent.
But like i say before i do love the "tiers" Born This Way has in its production...the odes to her heroes in music and her influences....those Madonna, Bowie, Queen, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Whitney, grace jones, Springsteen influences stemming out of the sounds/vocals/lyrics with a contemporary vibe of Electro/Dance meets with Techno blares of underground producers such as Miss Kittin et al.....brilliant
And i do hope that Fernando stays on board for ARTPOP as i feel that his partnership with gaga definitely is a strength melodically definitely, and Redone (though i love Hair and Schiesse) kept to a minimum...ZEDD should be an interesting changeup...but again i hope that the final result is not Clubby/Electropop throwaway stuff which IMO The Fame mainly consisted of...we do need melodies and structure as well as personality of course which i feel Born This Way heavily headed toward
