I hope RedOne's contribution to ARTPOP is minimal, I think his sound has become to plentiful on the charts, and Gaga doesn't want a sound that's already been done before.
Imagine if Zedd and Madeon co-produced some mad club-banger! ![]() |

While some Zedd and Madeon club bangers sound like fun I hope we get at least one You and I/ Speechless style song or a full on ballad this time around. Welcome Revolution 909 nice to see a new poster on AT.

Sorry if this was already posted but didn't Gaga say at the Vancouver show that the first single from ARTPOP would be coming "sooner than expected"?

What I would really like is an amazing ballad with just her and piano - not over produced. Just her voice and the piano, I think it could be amazing! I also want another fab club-banger - something that's got great hooks, a party favourite! That was kinda missing from BTW - the clubs I went to never really played her stuff, I think the subject matter was almost too serious! |

PopJustice posted it on twitter a few days back, I'm thinking she means it won't be around the release that Born This Way had but earlier though, surely we'd know something by now? Or maybe it will all be spontaneous?

I wonder when 'ARTPOP' will be released though, I'm hoping before June time. |

She just needs to make sure it's all planned and sorted out. That's all I hope for. Of course I want news and release dates etc, but only if its ready. My problem is that she should never have released the name of the album so early because it only gets fans hyped up (myself included) and it implies that the album is somewhat ready.
The boards at GGD are going completely nuts over anything remotely related to ARTPOP or Gaga and I think it'd all calm down if she just let people know when stuff was going to happen. I always thought she was holding out because it's still some way down the line. I wonder how many singles we'll get before the album... |

Hi guys and gals, you're all so friendly! Quote:
I have to admit I'm not familiar with Zedd or Madeon's work but I'm intrigued to hear!
Justin Bieber - Beauty and a Beat I know it's Bieber, but give it a chance, the production is amazing regardless! Zedd - Larity (feat Foxes) And of course the Lady Gaga remix of Zedd's track Stache *Samples of Madeon* Ellie Goulding - Stay Awake Madeon - Pop Culture What made him famous in the first place, and deservedly so, it's phenomenal! Madeon - Finale |

You're right about that, they're an impatient lot. I guess it's because she announced the title and then not really much else other than hints and vague comments. Guests were expecting an announcement around Xmas/NYE re release date but I guess as there's been nothing so far it means it's not that soon.
I wonder how much RedOne work there will be on ARTPOP or whether she's trying to move away from that. Like the feel of TF/TFM but with a more modern sound with Zedd or Madeon. I just feel like opinion of Gaga is not what it used to be and she needs to release something amazing to redeem herself in a way. Though I guess it's easy to mistake opinion on these boards for general opinion - it just needs to get back to being about the music. What he said not too long ago about not directly working together yet and that they'll only release their music if they make magic, implies that he's not been involved in ARTPOP much. I mean, judging by who's been actively working with her closest...DJWS is clearly the 'it' producer of ARTPOP with ZEDD as the support, much like Fernando and DJWS respectively on BTW. Madeon will probably have a couple, if not more depending on what comes from him being on tour with her. I'm curious as to Fernando's involvement. He was there at the very beginning (summer 2011) but no word since. Quote:

Recently, “open letters” have been flying back and forth between Lady Gaga and Sharon Osbourne because of a series of Twitter occurrences that happened a few months ago, where Sharon’s foul-mouthed daughter, Kelly Osbourne, was “attacked” by Gaga’s fan base for some rude comments she made about the star. This is a brilliant response to the latest shenanigans. You can read more about the letters here. One thing that stood out to me in Sharon’s letter (amidst the glaring hypocrisies and childish insults) was when she basically said that not only does Gaga control her fans, but she encourages their bad behavior. Apparently, there’s a need to point out that this is untrue. I have to point this out because several news outlets and various other celebrities and other severely bothered fan bases of other pop stars are quite adamant in their belief that Gaga can control her fans. She has a unique and enormous fan base and just because she groups them together and calls them “Little Monsters” does not negate their individuality. Her fan base is made up of millions of people who all love her, but think very differently from one another. Some feel it is their duty to defend “Mother Monster” at all costs, others couldn’t care less about the criticism Gaga receives and ignore it. And still others troll the Internet just for the hell of it. Yes, Gaga preaches about acceptance and eschewing bullying and wishes that her fans would spread peace, love, and rainbows all over the globe. However, she is no one’s mother and her fans are not required to listen to her. The idea that Gaga can tell her fans what to do is absolutely absurd. Half of her fans are grown adults, who don’t have to listen to anybody. The other, underage half already have parents who are responsible for telling their kids what to do. Kelly Osbourne and her mother were wrong in blaming Gaga for her fans’ behavior. Straight up. Blame the actual parents. Blame the open battleground that is Twitter. Blame the dragging culture that has engulfed the music fandom community. Don’t blame the artist when they’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve seen many celebrities retweet the insults they get, because they know their rabid fans will attack. I’ve seen celebrities literally tell their fans to go after a person who insults them. Gaga has never done that. She rarely shows her frustration on Twitter and combats criticism with a smile and deep sense of modesty. She’s not perfect but she’s not the villain everyone is trying to make her out to be. Whether Kelly Osbourne was bullied by Gaga fans or simply too sensitive to handle Twitter criticisms is a debate for another time. She put the blame on the wrong person and called even more attention to it instead of ignoring it. As a public persona, you will never escape criticism. Ever. To think this will all change just because you had your mother email the manager of a pop star doesn’t resolve anything. Gaga can’t suspend, ground, punish or put any of her fans in time out. She simply doesn’t have that control. Nor should she accept any responsibility for her fans’ actions. She has never encouraged them to bully people; she’s excruciatingly anti-bullying and against the belittling of anyone. People will surely say “Gaga’s a role model whether she likes it or not blah blah blah.” Gaga knows this and accepts that kids everywhere look up to her and she has never abused that. Yes, she smokes weed and wears dead animals, but she doesn’t encourage her fans to do so. She promotes individuality and self-responsibility. She’s even told her fans to back off insulting Madonna, which they’re prone to do and scolds them for bullying each other. The news media only seeks to get website hits and they know they’ll get it when they report on anything to do with Gaga. Hence why you’ll never see any news article about the abuse Keri Hilson gets daily from Beyonce fans. Or the vitriol Christina Aguilera is faced with from Britney Spears fans. Gaga fans have been labeled as the worst fan base because of their reputation for insulting anyone who criticizes Gaga, but in reality that’s only because the news media persists on reporting their every insult. Every single fan base does this. Hell, Perez Hilton does it daily and gets paid for it. I’m not saying it’s right, I’m saying it’s not exclusive to just one pop star’s fan base. Fair and balanced is what the media is supposed to be all about. And really who gives a damn that a bunch of kids on the internet are being mean? My God, there are mass shootings and gang rapes and terrorism happening all over the world and THIS is what the media chooses to spend it’s time on. I’m sick and tired of hearing people place blame in the wrong place. That, too, will never change. Gaga’s influence and impact is wide and expansive so people look to her to use her influence to make a change. However, in the end people are responsible for their own actions. http://www.examiner.com/article/comm...nyone-s-mother |

Good article or comment - I'm on my phone so can't load the link properly, who wrote it? Was it an actual commentary piece or just a well-written comment by a member of the public?
To be honest I can see both sides - I can see why people want the online bullying to stop, but as the article points out it's not just the LM who do it. And I doubt anything would change if Gaga said anything anyway. Plus she has made comments in the past, but these are never picked up by the press so... I wonder how the Born Brave Bus has gone down. Funny that this isn't reported as much as the 'feud' is... You don't even need a ticket for the show to use the facilities! That's pretty cool! |

Brilliant article taboo! Hope somebody sends that to Sharon Osborne and that's nice about the BTW Tour Bus, would have been great if such a thing had been there when we went to see her. Don't care for the Daily Fail users' comments

I think Gaga should make a video and end the discussion once and for all. Address that she is concerned by a minority of the fanbase giving the others and herself (rightly or wrongly) a bad name. Say that she does not condone the harassment of anyone and it directly contradicts with her message. End with something like 'Although I can not control your actions, nor am I responsible for you as individuals, I hope that if nothing else you would act kindly and maturely as a personal favour to me. Please do not bully on my behalf.' We all know it's going to keep raising it's ugly head whenever someone wants to drag Gaga, or gain some attention. Lay down the law and wash her hands with it all. ).The Daily Fail comments are hilarious. DS is much the same. So predictable you can almost guess every comment before scrolling down. |

It's from The Examiner, so just a collective blog platform. A lot of Gaga hate comes from that site which ends up being reported by mainstream media (including DS), but because this is positive it of course won't.

Sharon Osbourne is like a dog with a bone and I don't think she will stop - regardless of whether Kelly and Gaga have kissed and made up, which it seems they have. Still as Kelly wrote, I can't control my mother - why does she think Gaga can control her fans? Been playing TFM a lot recently, got back in BR - such a great pop tune and I have to say Alejandro is growing on be a lot more than it did before! I still love Teeth and So Happy I could Die though

I am starting to get a little anxious about Gaga. She needs to bring it with ARTPOP. I know she is touring right now and doesn't have as much time but we need some details about ARTPOP or just something. With Bieber quick on her heals to take the Twitter crown and then of course the lack of details about ARTPOP I am just hoping that she won't carry on keeping quiet. She really needs to stop relying on just the album name to create hype and give us something else! Fingers crossed.

Gaga's been in the lead on twitter since 6 million, so to still have the crown till 33 million is great. I'm surprised Bieber hasn't overtaken beforehand tbh.
His music success is nowhere near reflected in those followers, so I'm not concerned. If it was Rihanna, it'd be different. ARTPOP announcements tomorrow, it seems. |

The Skype call isn't an ARTPOP announcement. It was a competition fans entered 1/2 months ago in which the winner(s) get to have a short call with Gaga. Although I am hoping fans will actually ask GOOD questions rather than the BTWB when she did a Q&A and 99% of people just wanted to ask "What was your inspiration" or "Can I go backstage". Such a waste.

FINALLY! Something to look forward to tomorrow, hopefully we'll get something good out of this and not petty rubbish like "Red Flame won't be on the album"
Also, if Bieber takes over, she could re-take it during the ARTPOP era |

It'd be nice if she mentioned a track title or roughly a release date (like the month, not specifics as I doubt she'd do that). Just something.
