I can't wait to do this with my kids! They are too young just yet. But can't wait

re-watched Earshot yesterday!

An absolute classic! I always loved the way Jane Espenson mixed the comically dark humour with realistic overtones tbh.

Mind you thats what i love about the show....you will be laughing hysterically one scene and bawling your eyes out the next and/or on the edge of your seat for the remainder

But Earshot....what a classic ad twisty episode too Always felt so bad for Jonathan ...but for the sake of Willow interrogation.....hells yeah

great minds again

And yeah it really is....and i love that the "monster" was only in two sequences basically too which i found interesting.

And that whatever Cordy thought was what she said aloud was hilarious!

I love how different she was on Angel than how she was on Buffy...the way she progressed...again even more gutted she was "killed off" tbh

the Xander/Cordy relationship was hilariously intriguing....loved it and love rewatching it the sparks flying

I hated what they did to her in Angel, she lost all that fabulous wit. Such a waste.

I think that is my arguement too tbh...But she did adapt very well to new surroundings....but it was such a shame tbh

I disagree. I think Cordy was every bit as funny in Angel as she was in Buffy, she just grew as a character and Angel lacked something in it's last season without her. And no, Spike did not make up for it, at least not for me anyways.

What i loved about season 5 was that Spike/Angel kinda overshadowed a lot of the storylines in them selves with the subtexts etc.

And yes everyone has to "grow up" and i do love that Cordy adapted to her new surroundings and became an adult and matured....but i feel in season 4 with that storyline she was wasted and was so sad to have her leave tbh.

I don't mind Spike to a point but for me, I thought his inclusion in Angel's last season felt forced to be honest.

I haven't seen season 5 of Angel yet, I re watched all of Buffy and had never seen any Angel so I thought it would be as good. Obviously it's not terrible or I wouldn't be watching it at all but when you get to the Joss Whedon written/directed episodes they show the others up . The memory loss episode for instance was really funnny but had all the strong emotional subtexts of a Buffy episode as well. I know Angel is a darker series but I missed the humour. Also the characters weren't as strong. Grue disappeared and no-one even asked Cordy where he went!

Baby Connor had just been snatched to a hell dimension, Wesley had just had his throat slashed after betraying his friends...but hey Cordy, how's your love life?

Well yes- even if to make sure nothing had happened to him. He was in it a lot and then he just vanished.Surely someone would have mentioned it?

The relationship was tied up in the season 3 finale. He realises she loved Angel so he leaves LA.

He then makes a futher appereance in After the Fall.

I can't helping thinking about Andy Hallett, the actor who played Lorne, when anyone mentions Angel.

Lorne was a favourite character of mine on Angel....i was shocked when i read about the actors death tbh Even though he was demonic....i could totally relate a lot to him....which,again is what i love about the Buffyverse....you can sympathise and empathise with demons, witches, vampires etc.etc. Its that human/supernature effect i love! No show can match it with that!
