Who of the remaining candidates would you most trust to invest your 250.000 pounds?
If you HAD that amount of money to invest and If you HAD to choose one of the remaining candidates with your money, who would you trust best to make either a profit or not lose too much?
As a person I think I like Gabrielle the most of the remaining candidates, but I wouldn't trust her with my money ![]() I think I'd go with Ricky Martin. |

Good question.
Even though I was quite impressed with Ricky's efforts last week as project manager, I wouldn't trust him with my money, he just seems inexperienced and could be easily led astray Tom, I feel, has extravagant tastes and is happy to take risks and could make poor choices and over pay, I think it's all about the life style money can bring for him. Gabrielle possibly because I get the feeling she already has money behind her and could pay it back if things went pear shaped. Adam would just be a kid in a sweet shop. Jenna obviously would have no investment strategy and is more likely to consult Russel Grant than the Financial Times. Stephen just would't have a clue. The one I would trust most would be Nick. He just seems the most sensible and level headed with a good sense of the value of money. |

Nick seems the most trustworthy. Has he actually done anything wrong this entire series?

I would also trust Nick who seems to be solidly competent and trust-worthy and if he does seem to be someone who you would trust. If it was about going into business with him, then he does come across as a genuinely likable guy and its important you can get along with a potential business partner. So, yes, I'd say Nick.

Every time I see Nick, he reminds me of the guy who nicked a pile of dosh from my (then) local church....
He too looked so honest and trustworthy, so LS watch your wallet, honest Nick is after it...... ![]() My pick would be Gabby, so at least I would have the excuse of saying that she used her feminine wiles on me if she did a runner..... |

If the question were who could I mould into whatever I wanted, then I'd go with Adam. He's quite innocent, but very keen to get stuck in and try new things and I think he has the potential to mature into a role. However, as things stand I would go for either Gabrielle, Nick or possibly Tom.
I find Ricky a bit too wide, Stephen is a good communicator, but that’s about it and he tends to deflect blame a bit too much for my liking. |

Tom keep on getting the big picture wrong. His interpersonal skills are suspect.
Adam doesn't have a big picture. 250k is a lot for a small picture and Adam's skills may not scale up to anything bigger. Gabi may be able to do what she says - although you would have to manage her strategy carefully. Jade may not think in terms of any strategy. Nick looks competent, but there's mistakes in there that would need watching. Depends what he wants to do and if it would really cost more and be risky. Ricky is interesting. He seems to get the big idea right most tasks - but something always goes wrong with the execution - is it bad luck or bad teams or telling us not to give him our money? You could see he might have a suitable proposal - but would it hold up? Stephen ? 25p? Probably not. |

Nick is probably the safest pair of hands.
If I was a millionaire where 250,000 was pocket change then I might be tempted to invest in either Gabrielle or Adam who, it seems to me, have the highest chance of doing something great with the money. |

Definitely Adam. But it would be on a daily basis, task by task and he'd know he didn't get his cut unless he sold all the pies. But in terms of coming up with a creative product and building a brand, none of them.

It says on the BBC site
"The eventual winner of The Apprentice Series 8 will be given the opportunity to be Lord Sugar's business partner and receive an investment to the value of £250,000 founded on the basis of their idea." The only candidates left with their own business's are Adam and Tom . Nick is a Technology Entrepreneur so he must already be investing in businesses . Jade is a Business Develpment Manager, don't know what that entails. Gabrielle is an Architect so don't know how she's going to fit in and Stephen is a Sales Manager. Surely LS is not going to give away £250k based on an idea. Its becoming more like Dragon's Den only there you have to have a sound financial setup before any of them parts with their cash. Nick is looking the most likely candidate. |

Combine Nick's strengths in organisation and structure with Gabrielle's creative flair and you'd have a top business.
Apparently they're dating now so it might be a reality at some point. |

Gabs obviously.
Nick should be an Abercrombie and Fitch model, he looks so hot! I wouldn't trust Ricky Martin with my money, he would probably shake his bon bon and start livin da vida loca instead of setting up a business. |

Tough question. Most of them are not good with basic math, so I don't think I will trust any of them. As a person, Ricky seems to be the most straightforward.

None of them.
A bunch of kids still learning their trade, full of all the business cliches you could think of. Far better to employ them and train them. £250K is an enormous amount of money to put in the hands of young business people like this. Especially Ricky, a man so full of his own self importance that, like Glen Hoddle, he should be called Chocolate as he probably looks in the mirror and thinks he looks good enough to eat. |

Nick is the kind of young man you’d like your daughter to bring home but if he’s of the calibre to have 250K invested in him I’ve not seen enough to know. I have develped a soft spot for Adam so thank the Lord it's the Lord's money and he's the one who chooses.

Ricky or Adam. Those two have come across as more enthusiastic in tasks than the other three.have.
It's a pity about Ricky's slating for not going to Tring. I thought he was brilliant on his own and showed some manners at that restaurant he was shown around for 30 minutes. Lord Sugar didn't like that Ricky had manners. Sugar just wanted Ricky to burst in and say to that restaurant manager "giz us your money." I don't think Sugar will choose Ricky as his apprentice. |
