Yup, great episode.

Finally we get to see that Kiera has doubts...

Moving along nicely - its a good sign that I'm disappointed theres only 3 episodes to go
Does niggle me that Liber8 are so easy with the killing, especially as this episode they were specifically after 'hearts and minds' - I don't think theres actually that many "occupy" type protesters who would accept the cold-blooded killing of the two guards as 'collateral damage'.

Whats Kellog up to? He's got a nice stash of cash and doesn't want to go back to the future, so why is he still hanging around a city that houses his erstwhile chums -who will kill him in a heartbeat?
I can see why he wants the Terrys' Orange segment though - insurance/bargining chip should the need arise.

This show has definetly been a suprise, i hought it would be like Lost Girl/Alphas a show that started ok but would get "old" very quickly but its actually developed into a nice show.

Since Edouard came back into it it's been easier to side with the terrorists, which is something I wanted to do from the start. Killing Kellog's Grandmother was still too much, but if they keep pulling stunts like they did in this episode I'll definitely be cheering them on

This was a rather quiet episode in terms of action, and in terms of story development for me, however it did enough to swing the story towards the end game. With 3 episodes left you imagine that the pace will pick up again now and rapidly move towards it's conclusion.

I have to say that they did rather well with leading us all on with the who done it this week. It was so obvious that I dismissed it, and as the story went on it took you down the ally to the very end.

I'm still missing flashforwards to the future to see what they are doing now to try and trace where they all went or what is going on. Still I can't have everything with this show can I???

It might be just me but I'm finding the colour scheme used throughout the whole series very-very bland. It's just too darn dull for my liking.

Flashforwards will never happen. If any of the writers tried, methinks their brains would explode.

(gives it a little thought...) If we DID see the aftermath of the baddies time jump, all the futuries milling about - then that would indicate where the baddies are NOW is a separate timeline. Thus the flashforward happens can in no way affect what the baddies are doing now, so THAT future is irrelevant to the storyline.

If, in fact, the baddies are actually the SAME timeline, just years back, then showing flashforwards would have to take into account "happenings in the past affecting the future, such as people dying and thus their decendants never being born and thus we'd have people in the milling about crowd disappearing, or buildings suddenly changing shape or relocating.

So either the timelines are different and thus the future is irrelevant, OR the timelines are the same and flashforwards would be just too darn mindblowing to write.

(or something like that).

I was expecting it to talk, if not walk. Maybe next episode, eh?

Anyone know why episode 8 is 'not available'?

Versions of the central idea of the eighth episode have been done before, yet I found this to be a very compelling episode. This probably is my favourite episode so far.

We seem to be shedding the members of Liber8 some how. We hardly ever see the group working as a group any more it's odd people here and there. Though I suspect they'll all be back over the next two weeks.

I like the idea of them realising who was talking to whom, though I would have thought they'd both know rather more quickly than they did. It's sort of leads nicely into either of the next two episdoes.

I think the intro sort of ruined the start of the episode as it gave away where we were going with the show. I wish they hadn't shown us that till later in the episode.

Good episode, although Kiera seemed rather stupid.

She remembered about the mind control tech, yet then just said to Alec "But would anyone in this time be able to do it?"

Well, Kiera, how about that guy you actually watched do the demo of it at SADTECH... You know, the guy who is now in 2012 and part of Liber8...Did you forget about him?

Also silly of her to ignore Kellog.

Still, I suppose both can be excused using "the VR hijack messed with her head...".

Anyway, I enjoyed it, and it was amusing seeing Carlos and Kellog. Also nice to see the SGU girl (Betty?) getting more lines than simply "I found some CCTV footage" or "I traced the server".

I agree that the first scene should have been included at a later point in the episode, as it did reveal too much at an early point. Reagardless this was a good episode and was engaging unlike most. I think Alec's elder self wants to communicate with his younger self (It was probably him that appeared on the screen when he was messing around with the suit in the previous episode). He has encoded secret information in Kiera and used her as a messenager to make changes to the future.

Aside from the first episode, this weeks has to be one of the best yet.

I did think it was a bit of a leap for Kagame to jump to the conclusion that it was Alec who was helping Keira but given that we now know Kagame is Julian I can see why he did.

This was hinted towards the end of the episode, but I obviously missed something in a scene or previous episode? Has Kagame described his past (in another episode) and has that now come true i.e. his dad being shot etc?

Does this have any link/bearing on what Alec "saw" in the suit last week? Did he see some reference to Julian/Kagame or something like that?

I didn't think it was a leap for Kagame to conclude that Young Alec was helping Kiera. He knew that Alec invented Kiera's tech, he knew that Alec would be around at that time, and he knew that Alec would be the only person with the knowledge of Kiera's tech to be able to assist her.

As for Kagame = Julian. Eh? Hasn't Kagame previously said that he was born in 2012... unless it turns out to have been a "spiritual" birth...

No it's all in this episode.

When Kagame is watching the TV footage of the Hostage situation he states (something like) that the situation on the farm has to play out on it's own as it makes him the man he became.

Kagame has a Theseus tattoo on his arm.

We see Julian designing this tattoo.

At the end of the episode we see Julian (with the design) heading into a Tattoo parlor.

I can't recall if he did but as you say he could well consider it a rebirth. Julian is dead Kagame lives.

Cheers, I must not have been paying enough attention as I did'nt see him designing the tattoo, but I did wonder what he was looking at on the paper at the end, and also wondered why they showed Kagame's tattoo prominently!!
