I have two Sony products in use at the moment

A KDT-40nx723 tv and BDP-S490 bluray.

When I use BBC iplayer on the tv I have no problems however on the bluray the picture will suddenly freeze and sound goes off,if I jog the search backwards or forwards it plays again ok.

When useing the Bluray for watching Netflix I have no problems, a couple of days ago there was a software update for the unit but this has made no differance.

Anyone with any suggestions please.

I see that your isp is TalkTalk,
There is currently an issue affecting Sony and LG devices using iplayer on TalkTalk.
