The comments made me smile, I'm partial to the too-long sleeves myself

On watching the T4 performance I had a wee debate with OH, who has watched some of the YouTube footage of the three live gigs with me - either his band were miming to a TV track or they are a hell of a lot tighter than they were in previous performances.

I don't know much about TV performances these days. I know in the days of TOTP bands always performed to a TV track and only did the vocals live (if you were lucky) but would be good if those in the know could put me right about what the norm is these days?

Yay for part nine! I really need to up my game in this part, had a very poor showing in part eight!

Loved the performance on T4 today - I especially love that he hasn't changed his performance style to try and be 'mainstream' or whatever. I guess we knew this was the case as he has been his usual self in the recent live gigs but the fact that he was exactly the same on this very mainstream show makes me happy.

I also don't think I ever posted anything in the thread about the gig last weekend - think it was all on Twitter. Safe to say though that a brilliant day was had - I've missed hearing him sing live so much and to finally get to hear him sing his own music actually got to me more than I thought it would. Can't wait for the next one!

That was a really great performance and vocal...but, i wish he'd keep his eyes open more...it's been too long since we've seen the intense, sexy stare

Woah..those pictures are intense! But intense is good..I'm trying to avoid the shallow fangirl statement, but I can't deny it, he looks hot! #itsallaboutthemusic

Thank for this! Its great to see such high praise for his song. Speaking of which, I don't think I've heard one bad comment, except for the Paloma Faith one

She said she wasn't a fan and that it sounded like a lot of the songs around at the moment, or something on those lines.

Always wanting to be different, that one I'm kidding, obviously she's totally entitled to her opinion! Even if I totally disagree and think the song rocks

Haha, I'm not a Paloma Faith fan so her comment doesn't bother me one iota, although I grudingly admit that when she performed on The Voice yesterday, it was the first time I'd heard her new song and I REALLY liked it. But otherwise, yeah, I don't take her too seriously.

Thanks for posting those gifs here, eleana. Absoloutely gorgeous.

Evening!! Just watched the T4 performance and it is stunning (and not just Aiden's face, honest), so lovely to see him performing on TV and that he is able to convey emotion as well into people's living rooms as he is live!!

No idea if that's good but I'll assume it is!

I thought the R1 playlist was updated on a Monday for some reason. Just looked and it was last updated last Wednesday, so I suppose it will be updated tomorrow? Really, really hope Is This Love makes A List. Looking at some of the other songs on there, it absoloutely deserves to.

Interesting to see that Ben is no longer managing Frankie Cocozza. I have to say, it never quite sat right with me that he was managing two acts as different as Frankie and Aiden, so I'm quite relieved by this.

Really good article about Aiden.

http://www.clickmusic.com/features/a...aiden-grimshaw

Aiden is one of the most exciting artists of this year and he shows that a contestant on The X Factor or The Voice can be brilliant if they only tried for something honest to who they are.

Taken from the DS interview.
