I saw Rae supporting Bombay Bicycle Club & also at the same festival Aiden was at - The Great Escape back in 2012. In fact the first time I saw her... April I think - I had gone to see Bombay Bicycle Club but really only to see Lianne La Havas who was supporting, and yet Rae ended up being the best thing about the night!
She's great & was one of my highlight discoveries musically that year, but certainly the kind of music she was doing then was nothing remotely like the kind of genre Aiden was going for... and subsequently Aiden has gone even farther away from what he was doing, and yet still farther from Rae's work in my view...
Although listening to this collaboration as well as a snippet of her music now, I hear how Rae too has moved on. So I hear what you're getting at. I wouldn't say no to any Aidenmusic (or maybe I would since I never grew to love the EP...)
But... I preferred what Rae was doing before too!!!

Anyway, happy she is doing well & though I haven't listened to her music recently I did hear about her forthcoming album & tour & obtained both for the future when they happen. I hope there's some of ^^^ kind of stuff on the album/to be played though....
...???Incidentally, recently I put on a promo version of Misty Eye in the car after not having listened to the album for ages... and I don't know whether it was just as I hadn't listened for ages, but to me, Aiden's voice sounded higher in the mix on this promo CD (& thus it sounded even better!)

So long ago everything was now.... Wistful....
