I got the last post in the old thread, and the first one here.

It's like winning the Royal Rumble from #30 one year, then winning it from #1 the next year

Yeah, I can see it just being used to do more 'Earlier...' segments, more video packages about Be A Star and other charity stuff, and trailers for the latest WWE Films crapfest!

But let's be positive, I hope it gives more time to the Divas, tag division and midcard guys.

And yes, I do want to see more Divas. They actually have a decent Divas division, they just don't do anything with them!

yeah the divs's need more time, not just a side show filler for 5 minutes or so.

what does this mean for PPV's ?? do they go 4 hours or stay at 3

i haven't read this thread for a few days so if the question has been answered i'm sorry for wasting peeps time

They are already starting to build the tag team division in time for it being used regularly come July.

The divas need time as well. At least 10 minutes per-Raw for matches and promo time. As i've said before, they can do it, they just need the time.

There's no way a boss like John Laurintits would be allowed to treat employees in the real world the way he does in WWE. Maybe Big Show should sue.

Although the tag team division hasn't been treated well by WWE in recent years, it's not beyond repair if they put in the time and effort.

What they must not do is have a lot of short title reigns. Give the current champs a lengthy reign with regular title defences.

I can't wait for Over The Limit and I don't know why!

I think it's because RAW wasn't as great as hoped last week, so I want Over The Limit to rectify its mistakes, if that makes sense?

A(nother) quick question about NXT, have they referred to any sort of upcoming change at all, on air, over the past few weeks? Or are they just going to briefly summarize why the hell they are in a new arena at the start of the show, and then move swiftly on?

They do actually have the makings of a half-decent tag division atm. They've got Truth and Kingston as champs, then Epico and Primo, Young and O Neill, Ziggler and Swagger, The Usos, and once Justin Gabriel is back from injury I can see him teaming with Kidd cos that's what was planned before he got injured.

*Miz voice* Really? Really?! REALLY?!?!

Also, just realised there's only 5 matches announced for Over The Limit tomorrow night (I'm not including the pre-show Ryder/Kane match). I can see 2 more being added. Maybe a Tensai match, or an IC or US title match.

They aren't employees, they are "independent contractors signed to long term agreements". Now if they tried to do that stuff to someone in the marketing or TV production departments, they might have some trouble. But on screen talent can be subjected to public asskissing, being screamed at to strip to their underwear and bark like a dog and having their "bags" contents revealed to include vibrators and ass cream.

Just read about the 3hour RAW shows, like everyone else I will try to be positive, it is a good opportunity to get more guys exposure particularly tag division and some of the underused guys on smackdown and I would like to think it would remedy the frankly demeaning 30s matches the Divas get on RAW.

Also interested to see where they take Smackdown, its been feeling like a B show more than ever recently and this would really cement that but a hierachy might be a good thing like Raw>SD>NXT. This could also be a good opportunity to unify a set of the parrallel titles, I think Cody would be a perfect guy to carry the combined midcard title.

I am a bit concerned at the same time, even in an average 2 hour show there is an awful lot of filler, I think Monday's raw was a bad show to make this announcement off the back of considering how empty the show felt partly down to some very forgettable matches. I presume that a 3 hour slot will get WWE a fair bit more money off USA network even if the ratings and/or quality of the show dip.

How quick has this gone? It's the one year anniversary of the death of Randy Savage! I would've said it was about 6 months ago! So so sad, the guy was a big part of my childhood. Here is the tribute the did on Raw for him...

Hopefully he will be inducted into the hall of fame. Regardless of his problems with Vince, he deserves it.

The 3 hour Nitro's had an awful amount of filler and pointless matches. I think 2 hours is the perfect length for a non PPV wrestling show myself.

Problem with a 3-hour show is that it assumes the majority of fans watching wrestling are fully invested in it.

I certainly don't believe this to be the case.

For me, I watch wrestling casually. When people ask me why, I'd say it's my vice, seeing as I don't watch shite like 'Made In Chelsea', watching a few hours of RAW or Impact (I couldn't sit through an episode of Smackdown) is brainless and simple enjoyment. PPVs at 3 hours, and of course, the extended PPV of Wrestlemania, are exceptions to that rule as that's when wrestling is at its best as an art-form and when the most important things happen. But wrestling as weekly, episodic TV? 99% of the time it's mindless nonsense. 2 hours a week of that (sometimes four, depending on whether I watch both RAW and Impact) is more than enough. Any more than that and you're going to just lose the casual viewers.

I dont see how a Raw moving to the 3 hours will improve the product. If it was up to me id actually shorten Raw to 90 mins.

But I understand moving it to 3 is probably a money making exercise.

That's what I thought been a quick year since his death.

They must be getting an amazing deal from USA Network for this, given that they need to off-set all the extra costs involved with broadcasting for an extra hour.

Extra hour of adverts will bring in a lot I would imagine. Maybe USA had a show cancel and were desperate to fill the space.
