glad im not the only person with this problem lol im pale but not white as white pale and every foundation i use my face looks orange i just want a foundation that doesn't make me look like a ghost but also something thats not orange, will have a look at what people have suggested and see if any work

Yep! It sure does, it has a dewy look rather than the cakey look some foundations give. I use Ivory "I'm pure for sure" which is the Ivory shade with the yellow undertones, the other ivory shade was for very pale skins with pink undertones. It also makes you look FLAWLESS when you apply it with a sponge or brush as opposed to fingers.

I used to wear fake tan on my face and thought pale was horrible, it's only in the past couple of years I have embraced my pale skin. Here's pale me wearing Benefit WOW Oxygen.

How is the Dainty Doll foundation?

I've been using Illamasqua, which is the perfect shade but a bit too thick, though I'm sure the salesman gave me maximum coverage.

Have you tried Bobbi Brown they have a really pale colour Porcelain or my sisters swears by Bare Essentials and she has really pale skin also.

Lily Lolo are great. I'm very pale (and sensitive skinned ) and use shade porcelain after having bought a sample size for only £1.29. Saved any costly mistakes!

They do warm and cool pale shades so it might be worth trying a few samples or even blending them to find what suits you best.

I'm pale too, so I use Barbara Daly oil free foundation (sold in Tesco). The Ivory shade works best for me and it's not too expensive.

Use a Sunbed only a little to get a base glow

Have you tried Boujois healthy mix foundation? Without doubt one of the best I have used. My friend is very pale and she also uses it and it looks great. It reminds me of Mac body and face which I used to use until I was reccomended (by my pale friend coincidently!) to use boujois.

I buy mineral powder foundation from a company called Meow Cosmetics. I don't think I've ever seen a company with so many shades, plus each colour comes with a choice of three coverages. I bought samples in the lightest shade of most of the colours and they all looked good on me, but one in particular was a perfect match.

For liquid foundation, I actually use BB creams. Not the ones you get over here though, but the genuine Asian ones. I buy them on eBay and they all match my skin so well. They even work well on my sister who isn't that pale. And of course, as well as adding good coverage, they have other benefits like SPF, UVA/UVB protection, and that you don't need to use moisturiser or primer with them (though I still do, but when I don't have a lot of time it helps).

Of course the downside of both these is that they aren't available here and I have to buy online, but you can buy samples of them, And it's worth it to find such good matches.

another vote for lily lolo . I'm always paler than the palest foundation but porcelain is slightly too light for me. I was mixing it with the next shade up but now they've made a shade in between which is perfect for me.
Invest in some of their samples. They are fabulous.
