I loved this album. I haven't listened to it in a while though but I remember loving a world to believe in.
It's ok. I adore Celine but for me her albums are never that great. Apart from Falling into you which is one of my all time fav albums. She perhaps does about 5/6 songs from each album I'll like but i only buy albums if i like the majority of it.
I do like the title track, Alone and My love from this album. Plus the tour she did was incredible.
This is a brilliant collection of music. Alone and Shadow of Love are ace, but My Love melts my heart. Without doubt one of my most played albums of the last ten years.
Apart from Falling Into You which is a great adult contemporary album her others fall flat and are full of merely filler but on Taking Chances The title track, Alone, Eyes On Me are about all i like.
Its not a bad album, but i agree falling into you was and is by gar her best album almost every song was single worthy, i think falling into you is still her biggest selling album.

Yeah 32 million WW.
For me Falling Into You is the pinnacle of the 90's female vocalist diva movement in which her voice and the music were all on par and unequalled its a shame its often overlooked in favour of Lets Talk About Love i think Taking Chances was stronger than A New Day Has Come and i like the overall more R&B flavour and it does stand as one of her best it reminds me of her Celine Dion album.

yes absolutely agree! I can take or leave Celine Dion but this song was coolness personified. Love the double meaning - keep your eyes on me or I'll be cheating very riskee for her.
And Delta Goodrem on backing vocals.
Love that song.
