Trust me he's one of the most overrated players around. Yes he's fed RVP several times this season with defence splitting passes but he's cost us countless points by making stupid mistakes 30 yards from goal. If anyone offered 10 mill I'd bite their hands off but Wenger adores him and I don't see it happening.

It's gotta be worth a try!
If we're going to get anyone from Dortmund I'd take him over Gotze or Groskreutz or Kagawa. |

Juventus are interested in Djourou apparently
![]() http://justarsenal.com/arsenal-makin...deadwood/13911 We're also looking at a Norweigan keeper called Kenneth Udjus (who?) - as a backup for Chesney.http://justarsenal.com/arsenal-makin...deadwood/13911 |

The Times have Arsenal in for Hazard. It must be season ticket renewal time.

We're looking at Etienne Capoue as a "cheaper alternative" to M'Villa apparently:

The Star's very unreliable in general as a source paper but hopefully the 'Regular football' part will temp Hazard to join us, can't see Wenger matching his wage demands though. |

Eden Hazard? There's more chance of us signing the former spurs player Micky Hazard. File it under will not happen.

I was in a debate with a friend today and he like many other people a lot of them Arsenal fans believed our youth experiment failed and this season proved it.
Admittedly Wenger should have added more experience in the squad and that is largely a reason we have struggled in our pursuit for trophies in recent years. However I believe we can take some pride from the youth experiment this season Heres why Robin Van persie: Robin van persie is a player we have devolved since he was a young player. He has gone from fertile temper tantrums like the one he had against Southampton to our club captain and IMO is the third best player in world football after Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Wenger himself admitted his surprise in Robins change in maturity Alex song; His performance against Fulham was mocked and even when he improved in later seasons many people felt Wenegr shoudl sign a more experience player, but this season some of his assist have been similar to that of Xavi. He was wrongly ignored as nominee in the PFA player award. His has also been vital in securing us third and finishing above Tottenham. Wojciech Szczesny One of the best young keepers in Europe second only To Joe Hart in the premier league. Jack Wilshere and Oxlade Chamberlain are great up and coming youngsters, not to metion Keiren Gibbs is not doing to badly. |

That amount doesn't sound like what we would splash out on players.

If that happened it seems more like standard fiscal management rather than in preparation for a transfer. In this day and age how many transfers are completed with one single lump sum payment? Very few I would suggest.

Quite a few sources in the media saying we are in for Olivier Giroud.
It really is the silly season for transfer rumours and speculation. It'll calm down a bit when the euros are on then kick off again afterwards. I must admit though I don't mind it. |
