Not sure whether I'm posting in the right place but I thought the people on this forum know a lot about itunes etc.

I'm having a major issue with deleting music directly from one of these devices.

Basically, I currently have 2 devices, an iPhone 4 32GB and an iPad 2 16GB.

My issue is that my music library is too big for my iPad and is not syncing everything so I decided to delete music directly from the device but the problem is, even if I delete it, it syncs BACK onto it once I plug it into my laptop.

I have been told to UNCHECK the songs I DO NOT want back onto the iPad which is fine but I also have an iPhone to contend with and I DO want everything on my iPhone!! lol I want to leave my iPhone untouched!!

Is there any way to find a solution to this as I dont want to delete music from my iPhone too!!...lol

Only way is to uncheck what you dont want on your ipod and then just check it back on for your iphone its tedious but the only way i know

OK somebody on another forum has told me how to do it thank god lol

Basically I have to go to my iPad on my itunes, then to Music and then click selected playlists, albums etc.

NOW I can sort out the iPad directly! So happy now!
