hi guys, I am a Newton Faulkner fan and his new E.P. is currently number 3 on itunes only behind NOW music (which can't chart) and The Wanted - Chasing the Sun E.P. (which also probably won't chart because it is their new single) so I was wondering if Newton Faulkner can chart in the official album chart he could be #1 next week!!

To qualify for the UK albums chart the album must be the correct length and price. It must be more than 3 tracks or 20 minutes long and not be classed as a budget album. A budget album costs between £0.50 and £4.24. Additionally, various artist compilations - which until January 1989 were included in the main album listing - are now listed separately in a compilations chart. Full details of the rules can be found on the Official Charts Company website.[1]

But I doubt it'll chart high as Downloads are only a few % of what's really sold

If I remember correctly, when Leona Lewis released her EP late last year it charted in the Singles Chart as the single that released - in this case the cover of "Hurt" or whatever it was, I'm trying to forget it lol.

It says here it should be classed as an Album

@Benana93 The Hurt EP only had 3 tracks so it is classed as

“Maxi” CD/DVD 20 minutes and no more than three tracks plus remixes of those tracks.

and thus chart in the SIngles chart.
