Well Winston Churchill didn;t wash his hands. Famous come-back of his:

Young man [after seeing Churchill leave the bathroom without washing his hands]: At Eton, they taught us to wash our hands after using the toilet.
Churchill: At Harrow, they taught us not to piss on our hands.

I was wondering, do people wash their hands after tying their laces (splashes, misdirection of aim)

If germ avoidance is paramount you're better off fondling your balls than touching your mouse, keyboard, or touchscreen.

I don't really think it's that important for women to wash their hands everytime they pee as they don't touch their bits in doing so.

I don't wash my hands after a wee. No need to, unless you splash on to your hands.

Do you spend ten minutes shaking the drips off instead?

Or something.
