Jess, if I'm honest, when this process started I didn't expect you to make it this far. I don't think any of us did. And at the start, you seemed to be living up to expectations, with repeated boardroom appearances and arguments with other candidates.

I do think you've improved. I think you've improved massively. But I have to wonder whether you've reached the end of the road here, and whether you can handle the interview stage.

And yet, I think I am going to bring it down to what happened on this task, because Carlisle, I found out recently that you offered to help Reflections with their work yesterday. This might have been a friendly offer, but it is ringing some serious alarm bells for me.

Carlisle, if you had time to help Reflections, you had time to help your own team. And you chose not to.

So, on that basis, I don't think I can see myself working with you. I don't think I want to work with somebody who is willing to jump ship over an argument, rather than creating the best possible product with their team.

Carlisle, you're fired.
