Just wondering for those of you who follow Steps and watch the sky living show, who is your favourite member and why?

Claire and Faye are my faves but i like Lee aswell, first time round i hated H now i just dislike him but from watching the show i just find something very fake about Lisa. I think Lisa is the most fame hungry of them of all but is trying to come accross that she isnt.
Faye comes accross as very down to earth and genuine, Claire too but there is something about Claire that makes me want to hug her, i genuinely think Claire left Steps as she was genuinly unhappy and didnt get on with Faye, Lisa etc anymore but Claire has never really said the exact reason why she left, on the show she seems quiet vulnerable when she talks about it.

I think Faye and Lee are the type that could be i dont love or hate but with the other 3 they seem like love or hate people.
Id love to know have they made any plans for the future to record new stuff etc. i have to say i would love a new album from them, pop needs Steps again, ya cant beat a bit cheesey pop every now and again and they always did it well.

my favourite is claire, probably because of her voice. she should have gone solo instead of that duo with h.
My favourites have always been Faye & Lee. I've warmed more to Claire since watching the TV show but I've took a slight dislike to Lisa she just seems so false and seems to be the one who could cause problemss this time round

i have heard rumours that they are planning a christmas album and a `farewell` tour also at christmas. previous to that, reports about a new album were not that promising.
If they do a christmas album it better be a full on happy album and mostly upbeat numbers, it could do well for the group. That said, i would much prefer a brand new album from them ,there is still a market for Steps which the ultimate collection, the tour and the tv show has proved so i just hope they capitalize on it and a make a strong return to the top 10 singles and album chart again.

I feel that Lisa is not very pleasant and can be very dismissive of people. She seems to think she is a bigger diva than she really is.

Last night I thought that H should have kept all this surrogate baby business to himself. There really wasn't the need to share something so private with the nation. But for me, he was always the media whore.

I'm finding the editing and portrayal of the band on the documentary terribly so it's difficult to know which bits are genuine and which bits are contrived. The show doesn't seem to show anything positive which is such a shame because the concert itself was one of the happiest i've ever seen. It can't all be doom and gloom behind the scene.

I agree about parts of the show showing doom and gloom like in a way the members just hate having to do the concert type approach etc when in reality they should include more of the fun bits which im sure they have. Lisa is definitly scripted or she is just plain annoying as she keeps bringing up the trust issue she has about what Claire and H done.
Yes, thats one thing i find a bit frustrating about the show is some of them such as Claire, Lisa and H come accross like the tour and reunion is a chore, other time sthey appear to enjoy it an di wish the show would show that more.

I find it quite odd how Faye and Lee are the two who really want the band to continue, yet they are the two members who didn't try to forge solo careers after the split.

Lisa so wants it this time but i think she is afraid to admit it after the kind of humiliating way her solo career ended.
The Christmas album was mentioned in the show tonight sky living and they said it would a nice bridge until they decide on a new album. I dont know how that idea still stands as the show was recorded a few weeks back but i so hope it all happens.

Lisa may have wanted it back then but her priorities will have changed since. She now has kids and has settled with her family far away in another country so no wonder she may have hesitations this time around, nothing strange about that. Especially if she gives up her life in Dubai, uproots all her family over and it all ends up being for nothing if the group doesn't work out!
In some ways I think it may be better if Steps just get back together for a nostalgic tour every few years rather than try it as a group again full time. They all have commitments these days away from the group and being together again full time resentments may just spring up again, with one or more of the band wanting to leave again. Maybe Steps on a part time basis would be better for all of them.

Anyone who had seen that show will know how fiercely ambitious and determined she was to have a music career - and she said time and time again on this show how devastated she was when the group split and she no longer had that. Perhaps she's afraid to show any real excitement towards new material because she has essentially lost a music career twice before.
Claire bothers me sometimes and I don't know why. I mean, she's a great singer and she does seem to have enjoyed performing again - and let's be honest, there would be no Steps without her.
Lee comes across as a nice guy. Very inofffensive but very nice to look at.
H bugged the hell out of me back in the day. He was what you get when you give Haribo's to a toddler! But he was nothing like that in this or when he did Celebrity Big Brother. He seemed very level-headed and actually quite normal.
As for the split, I don't think Claire and H still get the extent of what they did - they ended 3 other people's careers with a letter. They've never really gone into huge detail about why they actually did it and I'm sure they had very good reasons but I'm guessing the other 3 still feel bitter about the way they did so - to which Claire and H don't seem to show regret for (on the show).

They are all basically decent people - but Claire does seem very nice and vulnerable.
I did find the interview/scene with H, Lee and their manager after the death of H's unborn baby was announced just a bit too much though. Did they really need to show that - they could have mentioned it and maybe had the other band members reacting?
As for next week - cue dramatic acting/pauses - what will their future plans be!
The H story in the show may have been best kept of the show but i guess he wanted to express it and also show that on stage you have to put the smile etc on no matter what and he was saying how hard that it is to do.
