So they are wanting to cut her pay from 40,000 per show to 12,000?

Still way too much money for such an undemanding show!

40,000 per show! I dread to think that Pip is getting for shouting out a few names

Well, she is not in great demand these days. Unlike Schofield who is on too much IMO.

I don't watch This Morning or the Cube, but agree that Pip needs resting, surely there are other presenters who could have a go.

I have watched DOI a handfull of times and they really don't need 2 presenters, I would welcome a change of both presenters

I don't mind the money they are on, it goes with the territory, what I do mind is the faux look of sadness when stories are brought up about hardship. Don't take the mick!!

ITV doesn't seem to know what to do with her.

Doesn't even bear thinking about what Schofield gets paid. He's never off the TV. He'll be reading the news bulletins and doing the weather forecasts next.

She is less in demand & frankly 12,000 per show is more than enough for anyone, even the more celebrated & popular presenters. But I daresay she will survive on it.
She does other things . I've seen her in Barclays adverts online,so the pot is being topped up nicely.

To be fair to celebs in general ,I daresay heart-string pulling stories genuinely affect them. They must do.
And I've read lots of small tucked away stories of celebs helping odd small causes/cases on the QT.. Just read one today about Liam Neeson doing something. Yes I know....Liam is in another class ,but still you get my point.
So we can't tar them all as just money grabbing & heartless.

I'd be ecstatic with 12,000 per show.

It's nearer to what I earn in an entire year in a specialist job in the north of England, and I've been there 12 years!

She should think herself jolly lucky.

I don't know about the 70% but I think it is true that she will get a pay cut. She's being paid loads to do little work when ITV thought they would getting someone who will be versatile and be a work horse like Holly or Phil. It just didn't pan out that way so if she wants a contract with ITV, she will have to accept a pay cut.

You don't have to be an industry insider to understand that.

She stupidly walked away from the BBC when she was doing well and now is the co host of an ailing reality show.
