Wait it out for a Kindle Fire 2, shouldn't be more than £149.

Just that Amazon is an established brand and aren't likely to secretly be a shell company selling tablets with such great features as 4320P HD 4D WITH SCRATCH N' SNIFF, as these Generibrands do.
And the current one (only available to buy in the US) is a 7" with 1024x600 screen, erm, you'd have to Wikipedia the rest. |

The Kindle Fire 2 is rumoured to be due out before September (or in English, before the smaller iPad).

The Kindle Fire 1 ain't even over here yet so £150 is far fetched.
$200 is possible though. |

FWIW I had a Zenithink ZT-282 that I sold on because it didn't work very well with flash, amongst other niggles. I got one of these:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Onda-Vi40-El...dp/B007IH40YU/ I'm very impressed with it. I bought it off Amazon marketplace from DracoTek and paid about 180 quid at the time, but I see it's down to £165. Bear in mind it comes out of China, though a logistics company. It's considerably more usable than the Zenithink. Has the same screen as an iPad 2. But with tablets right now, the longer you wait, the better and cheaper you'll get. |
