Would you listen to an independent/unsigned artist?
Dear DigitalSpy community,
I started a thread here a while ago after the release of my second album and received a lot of positive feedback from users. Thought I'd post again to inform you all that I have a new EP out 'Human" which can be found here: http://www.sebstone.co.uk I've written the songs myself and also played all the instruments, sung all the parts and engineered/produced the tracks out of my studio in West London. The style is alternative pop with elements of rock, reggae and funk. It would mean so much if you could have a listen and let me know what you think! Thank's everyone ![]() Seb http://www.sebstone.co.uk http://www.facebook.com/sebstonemusic |

Fantastic, if you've achieved all that. Well done.
I've just listened to your tracks, different from my usual, but I'm not a big mainstream follower, so is precisely what brought me to your thread. I liked particualrly IDTS off the Human EP, and Hurricane off Mr Controller. All your songs sounded well-formed. Wish you every success! |

Dear Peacelily,
Thank you so much! Interesting that you liked IDTS as Meteor and My Land seem to be the most popular. Very cool of you to have taken the time to listen. I have plans to release more tracks later on in the year, if you feel like it, join me on facebook http://www.facebook.com/sebstonemusic and I'll keep you updated. Thanks again for the positive feedback, it really does mean a lot! ![]() Seb http://www.sebstone.co.uk http://www.facebook.com/sebstonemusic |

I tend to dislike stuff that is generally popular. Was unintentional my choices, as those two tracks stood out for me, as a bit different, which I liked.
Will have a look on FB!

Mm, yeah these days I tend to just follow my instincts when writing new tracks. Really does lead to interesting places! Hate having to push the facebook page but it's so important these days. Hope you like it!

![]() Seb http://www.sebstone.co.uk http://www.facebook.com/sebstonemusic Think FB is a good way to go. Great publicity through word of mouth. I've liked on there. Keep up the good work. |

Dear Johnnybgoode83,
Thank's for having a read of the post! Yup, I returned to my original way of writing. Less thinking about the music business and more about the freedom of expression. I have to say it feel's great! Hope you like the track's ![]() Seb http://www.sebstone.co.uk http://www.facebook.com/sebstonemusic |

Just listened and I like. Nice voice and I got the reggae flavour in a couple of the songs .
Have you thought about sending a couple in to radio one in new music we trust? Good luck. I know it is hard out there ETA I particularly liked Meteor and Hurricane |

I am listening now and I am very impressed. So much so that I may just go to Amazon and download the album.
Edit - In fact, that's what I did do

My grandson's group are playing at the V-Dub Festival on the Isle of Wight! It is based around the VW camper van! Looks like fun!
They are also in the last two to get a spot at Bestival! Fingers firmly crossed. |

I always support unsigned/independent artists, as an artist myself I think its important we all support each other! I listened to one or two tracks, I enjoyed My Land and well done on producing it all by yourself as well!
