Wow, that was impressive, but it just didn't move me the same way Ashleigh and Pudsey did.

I agree, it is amazing, and so cool, but Ashleigh & Pudsey will always be better for me, luv them two.

thought it was pretty incredible what those dogs were able to do but I liked the relationship between Ashleigh and Pudsey and the way he clearly looked like he enjoyed it and just wanted to please her.

Agreed, limiting it to acts that aren't beyond a certain skill level is absurd. It's like a tallest dwarf competition, or a Miss Average Looking pageant.

The prize for the competition is their own professional show. If their talent is only the charm of how amateur they are that will wear off quickly once they become professional performers.

If the "amateurs" are actually better showmen whose charisma is able to draw the audience into the act more, that's one thing. But simply saying that someone is too professional is not a valid criticism.

A valid point, but I think its about the voting audience, what they vote is the final, in the result, then after that its all about what deals they get or what they are promoted for.

Circuses should be consigned to history, I would also be worried about what those dogs have been put through to do some of those things. While dogs can be trained the back flips are so unnatural it makes you wonder.
