robbie lawson - emmerdale's comedy heart throb
is it just me or is the casting for robbie lawson abit unbelievable?
from what ive read he is going to stir things up iin the dales with his eye for the ladies, and was described by the private detective who found him as "a good looking guy". but when he turns up he is seemingly about 5ft 1, ordinary looking at best with a haircut from an embarrasing primary school photo. confused.com

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
All he needs is some gel in his hair and some tormented stubble and he'll be the next Emmerdale hunk. |

Yeah I know. Everyone seems to be taller than him. He's like a little boy! Lol
I think I am even taller than him and I am only 5ft 2ins, very bad casting IMO |

Just had to be though didn't it, predictable that he would be wayward and need saving by 'uncle dec' could have written it myself. They need problems and a shake up in Home Farm don't you know, a soap only survives on heartache and misery.

They are desperate for a bad boy Nathan replacement obviously. I like Robbie and I think he will become hugely popular given time. I predict this storyline will run and run and you just know that eventually he'll become the all round good guy and warm lovingly towards his mum. I wasn't sure at first but I think Gaynor Faye has fitted in nicely as Megan, however, we are still missing that family dynamic at Home Farm. I liked Ella a lot too but they totally ballsed up that dynamic spectacularly.

He looks wrong for the part anyway. Dreadful casting and looks a right wimp anyway.
Waste of space for me. |

When he stood in the kitchen at Home Farm with his hands on the back of the chair it looked like a big prop to make him look tiny just like the Dennis Waterman theme tune sketches.

come on guys its the acting that counts and so far he is pretty darn good. he will be a big asset to emmerdale. emmerdale always seem to cast their younger stars better than the other soaps.
imo he is rather nice looking in a moody sort of way. he does it for me and good things come in small packages.

He's a carbon copy of Aaron as is the back story of him & megan, its practically the same as Aaron & chas, although Chas left Aaron with his dad.
He's straight out of the Danny miller school of acting, turn up be an arsehole get on everyone's nerves, squeeze out a few tears for months on end, leave every bodies darling. yawn, been there seen it, put up with the last 3 years don't want to see it rehashed again thanks, it doesn't help his mother is a total nause with no redeeming features either. the whole macey clan are beyond boring, I have no interest in them at all, and fail to see why the ED powers that be can't see they have failed as the power family of the big house. They currently along with the doolally dingle yawn fest pull the whole show down. |

He's a carbon copy of Aaron? Why do people keep saying this?
He's not a poor, lost, angry little teenage boy trying to 'find himself'. He's grown up and has been supporting himself. Somehow. Now he's found out he has rich family. He's also way more independent and confident. He's someone who Aaron would have looked up to. Chas never gave Aaron up for adoption. She even looked after him when he was younger a few times. Oh and Robbie thinks his dad is dead but will probably end up meeting him. It's a bit different ![]() But if he does end up smashing peoples windows, carving his name into benches, coming out as gay and crying every other episode then I'll stand corrected and you can all lynch me. |

im finding it very difficult to watch the scenes were robbie is chatting up prya,
it reminds me of watching xfactor auditions when a tone deaf contestant think theyre the best singer around. cringe !! ![]() it will prob get worse when prya falls for him and then he moves onto his next conquest leaving her devastated. emmerdale usuallty cas young characters well but they have got this one very wrong, robbie always looks like a high school pupil chatting up his teacher

It's embarrassing every time he's 'flirting' with one of the women on Emmy - I keep waiting for them to tell him to "run along, little boy - it must be past your bedtime."

I enjoy his and Megan's scenes, yet I didn't expect to.
