) as a great result frankly. We on the AT have been tracking this thing as best we can, and to be honest we're not very good at it, 'cos we haven't really got much context as to what all this means in the USA as it's not comparable (I think) in timing to how the UK chart develops. Radio adds take much longer in the USA though that appears to be going pretty well for a first time out, that's not 1D. Apparently a very influential station in NYC added her yesterday which sounded good news. There have been a various hints that it's launch over the past 24hrs is going "OK", but to be honest I and many others on there simply don't know. The video (as opposed to the track) has been on USitunes top 10 hovering betwen 10 and 4 (it's 5 at present) for about 10 days, but we don't know if that's an indicator or not, or even if that means half a dozen video downloads or 20000? Help anyone out there?? ![]() Another puzzler is the Snoop Dogg remix is real and being played first next week on KIISS in Los Angeles apparently. Why "launch" it and then add the puch of a Snoop Dogg remix about a week later?

She has been building steadily in terms of top 40 radio adds - the pace might pick up following Z100's add this week (the biggest station in the biggest market). Quite remarkable to see two X Factor UK acts from the same series among the most added songs on US top 40 radio the past few weeks!

Now it's 75 but I assume it's because of early noon hours in USA. Anyway it's higher than Nicki Minaj new single Right by your side and 1D - 1 thing

Want U Back is one of my favourite songs so I do hope it can become a big hit. That said, the US MV has no originality or creativity whatsoever. The UK version is much better, of course, imo.

Up to #16 while having barely even started achieving that Airplay smash:

Nice to see that after all the villainy and wretchedness thrown her way, the Queen of Malvern is effortlessly getting that slice of US success that so many of her detractors swore would never ever eeeever happen. Oh, and this is all before her American's Got Talent performance, you say? Geez, being a Cher detractor must positively hurt. Seethe. |

![]() I was just lurking on DS then but I remember your posts very well. A few One Direction fans were crying out in the wilderness at the same time ![]() I'm happy that both are finding an audience in the States. I suspected that Cher had a shot at it but I have to say I thought the odds were even at best, congrats on getting it right from the outset. |

It's around 6% off #10 at the minute, but it's growing at around 1.5-2.0% every 2.5 hours so hopefully this continues

Wow, this is going really well for Cher! Good for her. Now just imagine how much better she would've done in the UK if they'd led with Want U Back instead of (*shudder*) Swagger Jagger...

I hope her second album isn't produced by all the same people. I know this song is doing great and did buy it. But I'd rather see her work with producers who can give better. IMHO

I think Cher will get a guest performer slot on X Factor USA this year.
