So, of all the hundred and whatever finalists in X Factor history, Cher is only the third to achieve this hallowed feat, a top 40 hit in the US, behind LeLe and OneD, right? How... gratifying.

That's kind of true, but not really relevant as JLS's music was even more tailored to the US and they flopped completely. If it was as simple as that, more than a measly three acts in eight series would have done it.

Not sure how huge this achievement is!!

Hundreds of UK acts have made it big in the US, and havent needed to be manufactured by X Factor to do it.

You're trying very hard and I'm sorry to say it's just not working.

It is a very big achievement, as anyone in the music industry will tell you.

Yes, ask Gary Barlow. Ask Robbie Williams. Ask Oasis.

Hasnt she been slighted falling off itunes charts? few days ago she was #10 now "only" #12.
Hope its not a trend and it'll reach top5

She was never actually 10. She's bouncing between 11 and 12 for a while (people thought she was ten as they used a chart which omitted explicit songs). She still has the other half of her radio tour and a rumoured TV performance, so even if it does slip it's not the end of the world. (In fact, it's still pretty astonishing she's anywhere near the top 10, all things considered.)

More proof that 2010 was the best series so far. Last year was diabolical.

Considering the fact right now she has low airplay audience impression (25-30millionish) right now, and is at around top 15 already on the iTunes chart is usually a good sign for a song. I predict a peak within top 5.
