It isn't The Apprentice, it's a programme about the remaining 5 contestants, sorry if I have confused anyone

Did anyone mention that if Ricky had gone to the spa, he wouldn't have got the restaurant deals that sold, and might still have come back empty handed?

Not really, although Champneys is the sort of place that IS really popular on these Groupon style sites, so it would probably still have been a good move (assuming Ricky had negotiated a large enough number of deals).

Actually, most of the places the teams selected (or, more likely, had given to them on a shortlist of places which were pre-screened) were pretty good candidates for deals. Pretty sure there were two Gary Rhodes restaurants too. The one where Ricky struck his big deal was Rhodes W1 in Marble Arch, while I think the one at the beginning was Rhodes 24 in Tower 42 in the City. (Can anyone confirm or deny that?)

I've attached links to most of the places featured in the episode in my blog recap at:
http://slouchingtowardsthatcham.com/...count-dealing/

That tea at Cliveden House really was £500 per couple - it's actually now £550, although they do also do more reasonably priced ones starting at £25 for those of us who live in the real world.

I'd say Katie Hopkins, Michael Sophocles, Jenny Celerier and Alex Wotherspoon at any rate.

Kevin from series 4 got just as many red cards too, though he was an Adam-style laughing stock, not a Stephen-style hate figure.

I seem to remember Paul from series 3 got 99% red too?

I think Ricky's first restaurant was the "Windows on the World" on top of some hotel in Park Lane. Pretty sure that was Hyde Park/ Kensington we could see from the windows

Could well be. I'm not familiar with either, but was just aware that Rhodes 24 boasted similar skyline views. Thanks!

Yeah, you could see him pulling up to the Park Lane Hilton.

I’m not a particular fan of Ricky’s but calling the visit off to Champneys wasn’t a lunatic idea when they may have preferred their own deals or refused just as Fred Sirieix (Galvin at Windows) did. Presumably Stephen hadn’t made an appointment for Ricky or someone would have needed to keep it so a sensible decision.

I think the only ones who had a good task were Jade and Nick, despite the calculator malfunction. Ricky did well to say he was on the losing team, but didn't half get b*llocked in the boardroom.

They were so playing with us when Sugar fired Gabrielle first. I could hear a collective groan across the country. lol
Shame Gab had to share her time with Stephen on YF, but at least she got to watch him squirm.
I wanted to see her on the Final Five programme she seemed the most interesting candidate by far.

Actually feeling a bit sorry for Stephen now. Especially Karren with her usual condescending feminist manner, laying into him.
