Well if that happened I think this thread can then say conclusively that the case is closed. This would reflect very badly on both of them.

i too wonder why josie has been replaced? it seems odd in the same week to announce that she is appearing ...to then annonounce her replacement......???


being extremely cynical, i wonder if she was used to publicise the show....and then dropped when she had served her purpose?

or maybe the production team didnt realise that she had quite such a Big Brother following of fans..?....and that she was attracting the wrong kind of audience for the show? If it was meant to be cutting edge or alternative comedy...you arent going to want a huge crowd of middle aged women in the audience.....


I somehow cant imagine.....the producers wanting the same crowd in the audience watching, as the ones who read NOW magazine.....

No, but she has also done some presenting...the OKTV stuff...and I presume she'd need an equity card for her panto stint coming up.

He is lovely isn't he Perhaps he wanted to get a rung on the acting ladder; this play could be good for all we know, all plays start somewhere, all actors too It'll probably be much improved now there's a new female lead

I think it's very strange that her management haven't tweeted about it at all - reminds me of the days of Sean O'Brien who relied on supporters to do his job, which is how the Josie Gibson Club became more than a fanclub if I recall correct. Fan Clubs don't usually make the first announcements of their idol's movements.

24 hours later and still no official announcement from Josie, or her management, or her fanclub, that she's pulled out of the play. And some of her fans (who don't follow the official twitter for the play) still have no idea and are buying tickets. What a shambles.

Perhaps the producers saw her 'act' and decided they didn't want her, perhaps you are right about the audience, perhaps she did something she shouldn't - remember her presenting on OKTV when she licked a guest or something, perhaps she IS going into CBB (I can't see both she and John going into the house at the same time). Does seem funny though.

Then again - nothing is ever straightforward with Josie. . .
