Does anyone else watch this about alligator hunters in the Louisiana Bayou? Strangely addictive

Hooray someone else watches this! Something I've wondered is if the alligator hunting season is only 30 days long what do they do the other 11 months to survive?

Most of them have second permanent jobs to supplement the relatively modest income earned by fighting gators. There is no way fighting gators for 30 days a year could be financially rewarding as a full time occupation.

Omg read in Wikipedia that Mitchell Giest, the twin who died a few months ago was 48 I thought the twins were about 70!
