Finally bought a 3DS, Yay!
Got it delivered from Amazon the other day and I am loving it so far, I got Super Mario 3D Land and Zelda, I'm going to post a friend code sooner or later......when I figure out where to find it, lol.
I have a bit sight problem, so I can't see no third dimension, but I never have so doesn't ruin any thing. I am really pleased with it, playing Zelda brings back great memories. I maybe looking in to getting Mario Kart 7 tomorrow, reviews praise it, but I've read a couple that pretty much state nothing new has been brought to the table. would any one on here recommend it? |

I wouldn't really recommend it, no. Apart from the lovely graphics (probably nicer than MKWii's) I'd just stick with the far superior MKDS.
Its just... bland. |

I love it, I've been playing it everyday since I got it at Christmas I prefer it much more than the DS version.

Or you just have a different opinion, but this is the internet, everything has to be argued. |

I also think MK7 is better than the already excellent DS version. It's probably the best overall kart racer I've played tbh. The controls are perfect, much better boost system and some top graphics. Plus you can avoid the blue shells if you know what you're doing. The biggest thing that let down the DS version (at least online) was the snaking abuse, it spoiled the game a bit.

Don't listen to the miserable sods complaining about Mario Kart 7. It is without a doubt the best 3DS game available and I have been playing it quite a lot since I got it.
It has much more balanced gameplay than the Wii- You aren't forced to use the same vehicle and character to stand a chance of winning and the items are slightly more balanced (Blue Shell can hurt people who aren't in first, you don't lose your item when hit with anything and the evil lightning cloud is gone). The graphics are almost as good too. My only complaint is the removal of the Single-player versus mode, which was really helpful if you wanted to practise in a race environment, or if you just actually wanted to win a few times! (online mode gets very competitive). For this reason, if you are only planning to play single player, then the game is a let-down. Once you have beaten the Grand Prix, there's basically nothing to do except do Time Trials or play Battle Mode (which isn't very good), so you are pretty much forced to go online. The gameplay online is brilliant, but you really do need to practise and get good if you want to stand a chance at all. Even if you do agree with those who say it isn't as good as the Wii version, it certainly isn't a bad game and is definitely worth getting! |

One of the most common complaints is that blue shells are unavoidable and that it ruins the game and punishes skillful players but it's a lie. |

No worries, I found a video showing exactly what I mean which probably explains it a lot better.
