I usually buy a 4200 point card each month. I tend to buy more Arcade games (got around 65 at the mo). I spent a fortune on Season Passes for a few games but i won't be doing that again. Most of my points go on Arcade games and/or DLC for them

How did you manage that ?. I'm assuming you were signed into your own account when you bought them or redeemed the code ?,

Yep it's on my "must have" list lol. I'm having to uninstall some disc games from my HDD to make room for these new XBLA games. At this rate i'm gonna have to invest in a bigger hard drive. Besides i'm looking to get more arcade games as i prefer them tbh although i need to get on and finish the one's i already have

Just wondered if Micro Machines has ever been released on the arcade market place. Annoyingly still can't go online because of problems with BT and the wireless connection.

So I've been playing around with the trial to Virtua Fighter 5 Showdown. What an incredible fighter, why on earth anyone would buy another Tekken game again when this is available is beyond me. No 3D fighter I've played feels as good as VF, it's so responsible and snappy in it's feel and it looks gorgeous too.

I noticed that they have simplified the fighting system to a degree with the throw escapes which makes it more accessible for noobs like me. The ability to smash your opponent up against the walls like in Fighting Vipers is also very cool. I love the revised dojo which give you everything you could possibly want in order to learn a characters moveset, even shows you the amount of frames between each moves input, a really cool feature to help your combo timing. Interesting how they split the price with a very reasonable 1200 MSP for the base game with additional points needed for 2 extra costume packs.

Bang Bang Racing, I also played the trial and it seems quite fun, we need more Micro Machines games. one for multiplayer I think.

Check out the trailer on this website

http://www.retrocityrampage.com/

A bit like the old GTA games with a 2d retro feel to it. Not sure when its coming to xbla but it looks fun.

Marvel Pinball: The Avengers Chronicles was also released on Pinball FX 2, well worth the 800 MSP and a great selection of tables. You can read the review here.

I may be in the minority but I soo much prefer the feel of the physics and fantasy tables found in Pinball FX 2 compared to the ones based on the actual thing with real life tables such as Pinball Arcade.

Same here, I bought Pinball Arcade without trying the trial which I regretted straight away.

The Avengers Chronicles will be the first DLC I don't get straight away as the Marvel pinball tables bore me. For me, Iron Man is the worst table ever! Even worse than the tables on Pinball Arcade.

Yeah for some reason the physics were too floaty for my tastes, I can't remember the last time I played pinball in real life so I can't say whether it's realistic or not. I didn't buy Pinball Arcade though based on the trial, no point with Pinball FX 2.

I agree some of those Marvel tables were also not my cuppa tea but the 4 featured here are quite a bit better imo.

Not played pinball FX for a while. I'll have to try it out again to see if some of my high scores still stand...

I've got a friend who is legendary at this game, I have no chance of ever beating him, not even on one table, as you know this game does a great job of reminding you and rubbing it in your face at every opportunity.

Some of his scores go into the 500+ million. I don't understand how people do it?, I think I just suck at pinball in general, one of the worst for me is Secrets of the Deep table, I've played it quite a bit but it's so tough to open up the tables features let alone get a good score. I guess that's what keeps me coming back though.

IIRC Woodsmonk has a score on the spidey table that is impossible to beat for me.

Iv'e got a couple of scores on both the Parnormal and Blade tables that are at the no.1 spot.

Does anyone know the release date for Jet Set Radio on XBLA and how many Microsoft points it will cost?

All that I have heard so far is sometime this summer.

Also I would love to see the following be released on XBLA.

Virtual Racing
Jaguar XJ220 (Sega Mega CD version)
Lotus Turbo Challenge games (Amiga or Mega Drive versions)
Super Monaco GP (Sega Mega Drive version)
Ayrton Senna Super Monaco GP 2 (Sega Mega Drive version)
Sega Rally 1 & 2
Destruction Derby 1 & 2 (Playstation versions)

It wouldn't surprise me if some or all of these Sega titles were launched on XBL, they seem to be all about launching older titles now although i cant see DD being launched/available on XBL. You can't beat a bit of retro gaming
