Played the trial this morning and got to the first avatar unlock point and bought the full game because i was enjoying it so much.

Yeah "Flashback", that's the game I was trying to think off but couldn't for the life of me remember it's name lol. The movement on DL also reminds me of "Prince of Persia" from the Mega drive/ Mega CD days

![]() From watching that video I want to buy Deadlight, don't normally play 2D platformers but the I want to see the art and experience the audio this game is acclaimed for, hopefully the game play will draw me in and make this the perfect 2D platformer for me. We'll see. Looks cool. |

Completed Deadlight today. Won't win any prizes for longevity but it's a fun game while it lasts. You can see the influences of Limbo and Shadow Complex. I like how it tells you the sections where you're missing secrets and the timed leaderboard gives it some replay value.

That'll come in handy for me then. Although I haven't finished the game yet, no doubt i'll go through it again to find all the stuff (if I can)

Anyone else getting "realms of Ancient War" when it gets released. It reminds me of Crimson Alliance and Torchlight

Yep, very handy. Thought I'd done a good job of not missing anything the first time but nope. Didn't even know there were three LCD games to find! Found the first one pretty quickly when I played the level again. It's in a pretty obvious "secret" place.

Great game, it is a bit short but I cannot fault the playability and fun I've had with Deadlight. I've since found all the LCD games which are pretty fun in their own right. Rightly or wrongly, Tequilla don't leave too much for you to discover on your own as they point out in exactly what section the hidden items are in.
Another thing, a lot has been said of the completion time but my clock has actually been counting backwards and it's in no way reflective of the time I have put into the game. Obviously the developers really wanted people to speed run though it, I'm not usually a fan of that but since they have broke the game into small bite-sized segments it's probably something I'll have a go at. Either way, it's not a Shadow Complex beater imo, but it is still a great game in it's own right. Don't forget to also check out Trials Evolution which has a new Deadlight track, and it's excellent. |

It's receiving some very good scores too. Looks like being by far the best game out of a patchy Summer of Arcade.

Dust: An Elysian Tail. I bought the full game and I must admit to loving it so far. You can get quite far or possibly finish the game with just bashing the X button but combo's are far better and there are some excellent attacks you can use. On screen colours are fantastic. There's an option in the settings to auto assign level up to your attack or defence n things and an auto save option as well (instead of saving manually)
Not bad at all for 1200 ms points and one i would recommend

Wooo looking good! Can't wait for Joe Danger the Movie and Jet Set Radio HD.
Dust An Elysian Tail is the best XBLA game in ages, possibly ever. |

The pricing for jojo's bizzare adventure is a joke, surely? 1600msp for a port? No wonder it's getting low ratings.

Perhaps it's something to do with the gamer score being raised in new XBLA games from 200 to 400. Raise the score, raise the price but 1600 is a bit much though.

Yeah absolutely shocking port considering the price point. I have no idea what Capcom were thinking, it's not like it's a popular game in the first place.
