AI..Finale Show..8pm-9pm.24 May 2012 (No Spoilers please)
Think that title will do, but thought I'd make a Thread in case someone wants to add their comments.
What with ESC semis2 are on at same time, then who knows if anyone will pop in here, but, I decided to watch AI to the end, and have hub recording ESC semis 2 for me, for later watching. ![]() Evening all, and hope for a good show tonight. ![]() -waves- |

It's on, but with personal stuff from both contestants, their dreams etc. Big thing being on stage with aims of winning before a huge crowd, and darned scary too.
![]() 7000 die-hard fans is a big crowd in that theatre. Tight race Ryan says... 3 rounds... 1....Simon Fuller's Pick Jessica...she sings of passion, but doesn't show it...added an edge to her voice. Nice soft ending..9/10 ads |

Round 1...Philip...Stand By me.....he started off sounding hoarse, and very slow. His version of it, very laid back style. It's ok....8/10 Who won round 1....Randy thinks Jessica.. The group now performing Undefeated are good, with some nice dance moves Jason Orolo( sounds like) ads Back.... Jessica...The Prayer.....powerful....9/10 Phillip....Movin' Out......this sounds better than his 1st one, like it, great ending....9/10 Round 2....and Steven's comments....says Jessica took it again Randy....even round 2 Jennifer....Phillip ads again |

Back.....
Round 3...Track of the Winning song.... Jessica.......sitting on the piano....song doesn't grab me though, not like other Winning songs did. Don't think it suits her, although she gave it her all...8/10 Randy didn't like the song either...so wasn't just me. Yeah, was ok Randy.Jen thought she sang it well, a pop ballad. Jen's talking a lot, but also agrees with Randy. Steven....knows how well she can sing etc, but wasn't keen in it. Phillip............hey, I like that..he gets my vote. 10/10...melodious, with feeling too, quite a lot uptempo, and a lovely ending. ![]() He wins that round for me... ![]() Randy loved everything about it..perfect, etc.... Jen was moved by it..a Phillip Phillps' song, nothing on the radio like it Steve loved it too, and thinks he's the man. Nice to see the judges agreed with me. ![]() Jess re Phil, and Phil re Jess...all nice Scotty McCreery( forgot how to spell his surname), but nice to see him perform again. Please Remember Me....still love his style... Show's over for tonight....and I do remember you Scotty. ![]() See ya |

Pfffft! Hardly fair on Jessica. They gave Phillip by far the better potential single. Any chance she had of winning has now evaporated.

Yep, Jessica said she picked it so not sure you can blame anyone but her?
Anywho, I thought Jessica did really well with her first two songs, but she seemed defeated when singing her "winners" song IMO. Phillip on the other hand completely owned his and it felt like a "winners" performance. I really liked his song as well. Loved his first two performances too. |

Shame really as she blew him away with the other songs. |

Really? I'm pretty sure she said she wanted to something a bit more urban. I really don't believe that these kids pick the songs. There's no way they would give them that decision as if they win they would want to sell as many as possible. Looking at his squirming I'm convinced that Jimmy character picked it.
Shame really as she blew him away with the other songs. It's all opinions. They're so different that you can't compare. He doesn't have the voice she has obviously, I wouldn't expect him to. But he has more to him IMO. |

She did, but she also said she picked the song. I can't remember word for word what she said though. I'm sure it was something about showing off her voice, or a different side to her, and that was why she picked it?

Thought the final was a real disappointment
Was quite indifferent to who won. but felt PP shows little in the way of personality -- am sure he will sink without trace. Voting will always be bad while it is free with unrestricted volume - should be one vote per phone number |

Voting will always be bad while it is free with unrestricted volume - should be one vote per phone number I agree with the voting thing, i had no idea America had it so easy to vote on American idol. In the UK on every talent show we have to pay to vote. Maybe if Idol charged for votes that would make the vote more manageable? and more fair? |
