Over the last couple of days, I've been watching season 1-4. Didn't think it would be my kind of show, but it turns out to be one of my favourite. I really am enjoying this show, and think I'm gonna stick with it until the end because it's really gripping!

I just watched the first episode of season 5, and have to say that I loveeeeeeeeeed it! I loved Tara in season 1 and 2, but the character really started dragging in season 3 and beyond. I really hope Tara gets a really good story now that she is a vamp, and hope her character is redeemed.

I just have to say that Sam is my favourite character, and I really hope that he gets some more screen time. I would love to see him more in the group parts, even though he dislikes vamps.

Lafayette has been one of the main reasons I stuck with this show when I started watching it a few days ago. His scenes are always fun to watch, and I think he's one of the best characters in the show. I really hope they don't kill him off anytime soon, as that would be a real shame. He's really needed, since there'd be really no humour scenes without him.

Really excited for season 5! Bring it on!

Sam is a great character. I hope he gets a bit more than getting roped into were and shifter politics too.

Loved it! True Blood as i love it is back . I'm still traumatised by the man-child Eric of last season.

I was hoping Tara was a gonna so in that sense the new episode disappointed me. God she irritates me!! Then again Jason used to irritate me but hes now one of my favourites. I guess i'll have to see if vamp Tara is an improvement.

I'm looking forward to the 'Authority' being the bad guy of the season. Looks very promising.

Vampire Tara seemed better looking. If they can team her with Pam, it could be good.

Was that Russell at the end?

According to the HBO episode synopsis apparently so though I doubt anyone would have got that without a little 'prompting'

He's certainly not looking his most shaggable innit..................

I didn't enjoy this one as much but it had it's moments here and there though.

Pam's flashbacks to her first encounter with Eric were nice but a little too short for my liking. I assume we're getting more on it next week, right?

I did admire her glee when it came to dealing with Tara as Sookie and Lafayette were struggling with her. Tara as a vampire though, we need more on it, even though it's nice that Lafayette is realising the consequences of his actions though.

Terry's story needs to pick up some pace and I wasn't that enamoured with the Sam/Luna/Martha/Alcide stuff this week, though Emma turning into a wolf was interesting.

Hoyt and Jason's scenes are getting a little tedious now. I do however Jason and Andy's scenes this week though.

Jessica and Steve's scrap was amusing as hell. I love Steve so much as a vampire.

The Authority stuff is fine, not sure on either Roman and/or Salome though. I have to admit, Dieter stood out a bit more but the silver in the IV and UV lights are effective enough I think.

Poor Bill, Eric and Nora in this one, moreso Nora for some reason though. And nice to see Russell again. I've missed that crazy so and so, 7/10.

Yes, it was. You didn't recognize him? He's a...um...a bit out of sorts, but it's him. He even has his own atmospheric theme music. Just listen out for it, you know that he's around.

Tara as a vampire is going to be fun (I hope). That girl/vamp has some major league 'tude.

The one character that I liked is now starting to bother me. That character is Hoyt. He is one BIG BABY. Talk about a transformation in personality.

Btw, how about Luna's little girl showing that she is indeed a wolf (pup in pj's no less). lol Too cute.

Pup in PJs was the cutest!

Some bits were slow for me. Pam was awesome, Eric and Pam flashback was great. Like the Sookie/Lafayette dynamic. Liked the Authority. Liked Terry's story but agree needs more pace.

Liked all of it really!

Werewolf puppy reminds me of direwolf puppies from Game Of Thrones.

I'm loving it. But you may be right. Tara whizzing around in a bad mood... the "Fire" mystery ... recomposing Russells ... Erics Victorian Gentlemen antics, dressed up wolf puppies ... etc etc. but keeps me glued.

Forgot to post yesterday, so on reflection, a little slower than I had hoped, but it moved the story on and episode 2 is generally slower anyway.

Tara as a vamp, hmmm. You know what, till she let them know she wasn't happy about being turned, I thought we were going to get True Blood's very own version of Bubba from the books. She was so mute, and the looks she was giving. I've read no spoilers, but knowing how Tara has been written, it woudln't shock me to see her on Russell's side of any war. She's already broken through one of her makers instructions.

They'd better do something with Hoyt real quickly as I'm fast losing my fondness for him.

As for the Cub, I'm assuming that shifters can change into wolves and panthers if they wish. Who knows this could be a false lead as such.
