She's probably bisexual. Anyway, still enjoying the show too, apart from the Lafayette storyline. I think the witch face thing looks ridiculous and I preferred it when the character was a bit more comical. Also, what's happened to Tara's mother?

So much better! Enjoyed the episode and actually enjoyed Tara It's taken a couple of revamps, but she is finally enjoyable (as was all of the Fangtasia stuff).

Not sure about the smoke monster, doesn't really suit the tone of the show, but at least the Terry story is getting somewhere.

I have no idea what is going on with Lafayette, really weird stuff! Nice to see Jesus again though...sort of.

Loved Jason in his He-Man outfit, I almost choked on my cuppa when his mum offered him a BJ, very funny and sad at the same time.

Russell is back.

A good episode.

The ifrit looked scary this episode on Terry. I wonder if Sookie and the team will help him out on an episode.

Loved Sookie with the truck driver he was so funny. Tara is okay but we just know she is gonna go down hill as she always does. Probs get killed off near the end of the season.

I have my own theory......

I'm wondering if Salome could have been related to Talbot in some way and that by releasing Russell, both she and Russell could team up, try to get rid of Eric and then take over the vampire world. Both are thousands of years old and I don't know, it seems to make sense in my head.

If it's not that, I noticed that both Nora and Salome wear the same necklace which could be lulling us into that trap of thinking it's one of them when there could be every possibility that it could be a male member of the authority, if it is even someone from there. I spend way too long thinking about these things lol!

I think it's Salome and Nora is being used as a scapegoat in relation to Russell.

Nora needs to escape, Roman needs to do something and Russell can just be his wonderful, scary self.

I agree. I do not think there is enough sex this season actually.

Did you mean Eric? Or Roman?

Given the fact that both Nora and Russell are thousands of years old why would they need to team up to get rid of Eric? Assuming that age = strength, which seems to be the implication, then either one of them could kill him easily in a straight fight. And that's without the fact that Salome commands Authority forces and has had plenty of chances to kill him already.

A couple of weeks back when they first mentioned houses burning down and dodgy doings in Iraq I asked my wife "Do they have Efreets in the books? Because arabia plus fire means it's efreets. Fire djinnis."

(in my D&D days it was spelt Efreet rather than Ifrit )

She claimed they didn't, which means either she forgot or they've gone off piste again

I'm not sure if they will push Jessica there though it's interesting that she's not all over Jason so readily either.

Not something Jason's used to I think.

Well....I did mean Eric....but now you mention Roman, there is a possibility that Roman could be targeted by them too.

And I say team up because Russell needed aid to recover from being kept in the concrete for the year, so in gratitude...the person who dug him up could form an alliance with him of some sort. Things always work better the more of you there are, so age has no boundaries where Salome and Russell are concerned as two ancient minds could very well work better together than one on it's own.

Although Salome could have had plenty of chances to kill Eric or Roman....she can't really be sloppy about it and it's all about timing really isn't it?

One thing that bugs me though is I'm getting rather sick of Romans monologues, I don't understand what he's banging on about half the time and I switch off mentally. It reminds me of the black fella (Morpheus??) in The Matrix banging on about a prophecy. It bores me and the novelty of the authority is really starting to wear off.

LOL, I don't know if they are on the books. However, I wonder how Terry is gonna try and defeat it. I don't think Eric and Bill or even Sookie could stop it. I probs think they will have a big stand off with the creature, where Lafayette will use his demon powers against it.

Agree, Roman is so boring when he rants on and on.

I want to see more of the black fella Morpheus too he seems cool and was defending Eric and Bill in the meeting.

I think on next episode Sookie will get saved by her new Fairy protector. That lad Jessica chased after.

I thought it was established that for vamps anything goes. They may have a preference, but not exactly a sexual orientation. No?

I think it's a case of the individual vampire really. Bill and Roman don't strike me as the most open minded of sexual vampires.

Well it depends on your deffinition of "open minded", after all Roman was happy to sleep with Salome immediately after she had slept will BIll and Eric.

"Have" they?

Well, they've both slept with Sookie numerous times. Not sure if that counts

Eric has certainly enjoyed the other side of the buffet. He did so whilst *ahem* staking Talbot from behind.

Not sure about Bill though.

That Eric and Talbot scene, might have to rewatch that episode again.

It's also the one with the scrap between Sookie and Debbie that would put the Buffy/Faith ones to shame

Wasn't Bill a procurer in the series. I presume he would try to attract both sexes He doesn't strike has someone with barriers, anyway.

Well Roman is certainly a "sharer". There is nothing to suggest he's exclusively hetero.

I haven't read the books, are vamps suppose to have a sexual orientation? They certainly bite everyone with the same gusto.

I'm sure if they're supposed to or not. They do seem more sexually fluid, well most of them do on this show.

Anyways, the TB Comic Con panel is on today, so we should get some more spoilers and maybe a trailer for the second half of Season 5.

Apologies for my earlier "have" comment... could have sworn there'd been a allusion to it, but can't find any evidence in books or TV.
