XBOX 360S headsets
Hi,
I have an XBOX 360 S and I'm thinking about buying either a wired or wireless headset - ideally wireless - looking for inexpensive recommendations - but I have a question - does the game audio get diverted to the earpiece or does it still go through the television? The only reason I would buy one is instead of using normal headphones with the television. Many thanks. |

Just the speech comes through the headset.

You can have it through the TV,Headset or both if you like.
Also i wouldn't recommend the new Bluetooth 360 headsets, there uncomfortable! |

I had the wireless headset before and its not very good. People kept saying that my voice kept cutting out. If you look online at some reviews loads of other people had problems too.
I have a pair of Turtle Beaches now, cost about £40 but they are wired. The game audio and the voice both go through the headset but the volumes can be adjusted independantly. |

I used to have the official MS wireless headset and I was always being told my voice was breaking up and I found it to be uncomfortable to wear after a while so I switched to Turtle beach x41's. Clear speech with no break up and 5.1 SS. If you want decent sound and speech then it's worth spending a decent amount of money on a headset.
