I havent watched for a couple of weeks, but the last episode i saw was PC Dunbar dying in the fire....

I think, though, they are up to the episodes where PC Powell married his civil partner.

I liked it when Alibi where showing the 1999-2002 series.

They stopped due to low ratings.

I've started watching The Bill from the first pilot episode,"Woodentop", so far I'm about half way through Series 6, I think it's from 1990. Dave Quinnan first appeared in this series. The ongoing story line is the building work that is modernising Sun Hill. These episodes are all only 24 minutes long, I'm enjoying them but I prefer the 49 minutes episodes.

I'm surprised how many characters were in it right from the beginning up to almost the end.

I don't know why but the last two episodes that I watched the annoncer talked over some of it.
Yesterday's episode he/she spoke over "next time"
Today's episode he/she spoke over the last bit before "next time"

What are they playing at?

I noticed that - I think its UKTV

They did when The Bill was on Albi

Obviously the 'Next Time' Segments use to be slotted over the closing credits during the Jazzy Theme era. Some of the continuity use to play over the NT which use to annoy me.

I think everyone should e mail ITV saying that they would like old Corrie and Emmerdale repeats to show that there is a demand for them to be put on ITV 3/4

Same with Brookside repeats for Channel 4
