Now TV
Does anyone have any more information on this Now TV by Sky that's supposed to be launching this summer? It looks pretty good, although from the limited information I can find online I can't seem to ascertain whether it's just supposed to rival Netflix and Lovefilm, or whether it's an alternative to Sky's subscription service.
Thanks! jackbirdy412 |

If you go on Sky (Go) on the Xbox 360 then go to the Anytime section, where it says rent this show for £1.89 or whatever, that is Now TV.
Its just the non-subscripted-to-sky part of Sky Go under another name. [as far as I'm aware] |

[as far as I'm aware] ![]() Now Tv is or will be a pay as you go or subscription Tv service over the net, separate from the Sky service many people have now. Non sky customers will be able to use this service, I presume it is sky way to try and get more people to use their services. they not even calling it Sky, I think they don't want people to know who it is from so it don't put them off. what I have heard is that it will offer movies at first and it will be available via muilti platforms,Pc, wii, xbox and Ps3 at least We will wait and see, at the moment I am happy with netflix, certainly now I can get the Us version. |

Sky Go Monthly Ticket, the ability to use Sky Go without having a Sky subscription (PC, Xbox 360, iPad, iPhone, Android) is £40 for the package that includes Sky Sports channels. If you don't particularly care for picture quality, and you're happy watching on a iPhone or iPad, you could try Sky Sports TV which is £10 a month, that has News & F1. |

sky's now tv will have live sport Sky has been awarded live rights across all platforms – including satellite, cable, IPTV, online and mobile. This means that, in addition to TV, Sky customers will continue to benefit from live Premier League coverage through Sky Go on PCs, laptops, smartphones, tablets and games consoles. Coverage will also be made available on Sky’s new internet TV service, NOW TV, which launches later this year. Jeremy Darroch, Sky's Chief Executive, said: "This is a good result for our customers and for our business. It means that Sky Sports remains the home of Premier League football and that viewers will continue to enjoy our live and exclusive coverage until at least 2016. "We have never offered greater depth and breadth of coverage on Sky Sports, with unprecedented live action right across the schedule. At the same time we’re pushing ahead with more original British content, extending our leadership as the UK’s favourite triple play provider, and launching our new internet TV service, NOW TV, which will give us even more ways to distribute our content. |
