Reminder ?
Hi
Ive installed my BT Vision and everything seems to be fine. Its easy to set a record from the EPG but one thing is bugging me. Is there an option to set a reminder of a programme start not a record? |

If you are on the channel already you can wind back live to the beginning (and even record back to the beginning!) if less than 1 hour from the start. We tend to record many series programmes and watch live, on i(tv)Player or recorded (sometimes chase-play) as appropriate and are no longer locked to schedules. (we watch Emmerdale more often on itvPlayer, then live then recorded - usually recorded because they have left an episode of itvPlayer of we want to watch it before it has appeared there).PS one of our old STBs can switch channels based on the timer (and it has a reminder too) so you could plan and set your whole TV viewing - and make sure you didn't forget to watch something. It also enabled us to record episodes (of Lost) where channel 4 and E4 had messed up the EPG or set it so that the next episode started on E4 before the last finished on C4 or with Chuck they had missed it off the EPG altogether. This was some time ago using a VCR to record! |
