I am not familiar enough with PJ to know if thats true, but "Wings" seems to be getting raves from people who would normally be skeptical:

I'm not a massive fan of LM - on TXF I wasn't their biggest fan but Wings has converted me - it's such a strong song to come out on after TXF! It's upbeat and the chorus bit is my favourite! Hopefully they do it justice at T4OTB!

The new single is really amazing. and the response so far on the track seems to be very positive. It's a nice change from what we've seen in the past. I can't think of anyone but Leona, where people were completely happy and excited about the release of the song.
Here's my two cents on my blog about it btw for those interested. http://glopop.co.uk/2012/07/01/littl...s-listen-here/ |

WHAT? Just heard the song.
Can't believe it, so shocked. It is actually very good, not generic and very different. Very surprised and happy, they should be massive! |

I was sceptical at first I must admit, I didnt think they were anything special on x factor.
So I'm happy to say my opinion has completely changed! Such a great, catchy and unique track! Well done Little Mix! I hope the rest of the album has got a retro feel like this song as well. |

I like it, and full credit to them/their label for not going down the pop/dance/everybody get down in the club style of song that is dominating the charts.
the chanting and pounding rhythm reminds me of the Pussycat Dolls first album, and I mean that in a good way. I hope this charts well and proves that the public are still interested in proper pop songs. |

Love the song.
Not hearing other people comparisons though, reminds me of more of Steps than anything else. |

Wings? Named after what Jessie sees when she wears sleeveless t shirts I guess?

No matter how hard they try they will never ever become anything as big or successful as The Spice Girls so they can get that out of their heads right now!
They just look like a cliche girl-band

It's really good! I'm pleasantly surprised. I thought they'd be successful but didn't expect a tune like that. However, the lyrics... that was totally expected. The lyrics are incredibly cheesy, very Glee-like, but the melody and style saves it for me.
I expect them to get #1 with this, easily. Well done girls

It's so so good, I expected it to be great and they have definitely impressed. I knew they wouldn't go down the whole generic dance-pop route like everyone else, I'm so glad it's a sufficiently different empowering anthem, I was afraid that they'd be too similair to StooShe but they are distancing themselves from The Saturdays etc. as well as StooShe.
